  1. Hi I am having issues with my 1995 Camry Vientra Hydraulic Coolant fan. It roars like a jet engine the moment i start to accelerate. It roars all the way down the road while driving. I understand it should always run, even at idle but it runs slightly faster than normal. It does it all of ther time now, however, the other night I noticed it was normal. It started being intermittent and now just always bad. I read some posts that mention issues with this hyd system but no one seems to have nailed the issue of the fan continually running. I have done recent work to the car, including removing the wiring from the coolant sensor on the thermostat housing and replacing the rocker cover gaskets. The plugs on top of the solenoid at steering pump were also removed as this belongs to the main harness that had to be folded back and removed to allow for access to rear rocker cover. All plugs and wires appear to be secure and unbroken (visually). I feel I am ready to start testing the terminals in the coolant ecu behind the glovebox. I understand the ecu is behind the glovebox. However, I am unable to find out which terminal is pin numbered etc. Can someone direct me to or supply a diagram as to which terminal is which. Also if anyone has had experience with this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks

  3. Hey..this is an old thread but how did you get on with the problem of the hydraulic fan stuck on. Its now happening to my 1995 Camry V6 and it sounds like an aircraft engine. The fan increases speed with engine revs and the engine is running normal temp. I have no overheat.
