  1. Anybody know a good price (fitted or just part itself) for the X force cat back exhaust for the ZRE rolla. 700 on eBay for the part itself Was quoted 900 for part and installation by one exhaust shop. Seems a bit steep? Anybody got one fitted? Cheers
  2. Anybody know of a decent place in Sydney to supply and fit an upgraded ecu for my 2011 manual hatch, Anything regarding a feflash of the standard unit or whatever let me know.
  3. Thanks guys. Sorted the issue out yesterday with a knob out of a zre182 hatch. All good now
  4. A very common problem on the ZRE model corolla was the dimmer switch (headlight/indicator) switch failing internally. Your issue sounds very much like this. The remedy is to replace the whole dimmer switch.
  5. The silver plastic trim in question is the long silver grab handle you use to pull the door closed. It sits flush with the interior door handle. Pull on the the inner door handle slightly until there is a gap. Then pry off the silver trim through that gap
  6. Then the gear lever will be excessively long lol..
  7. Hmm very strange. Will have to check this at work
  8. Unfortunately the ZREs don't like aftermarket gearknobs. The stupid things have a safety on the gearknob which needs to be lifted in order to get into reverse. Aftermarket gearknobs obstruct that function.
  9. I can tell you that the vehicle will require engine oil. Oil filter. A brake fluid replacement (bleed). Spark plugs and an engine air filter. Just my experience working @ toyota.
  10. Yes, you will have to remove the inside door trim. To do this: Remove the silver plastic cover on the door pull. And remove the small black plastic cover from behind the door handle. There will be 3 screws behind those covers mentioned. Unscrew them. Grab the bottom of the door trim and pull until it comes free. Unplug the window switch and set aside the trim. The plug for the mirror power should be visible now. Hope that helps
  11. Can't go aftermarket because of the reverse lock thing. Tried looking all over eBay for one that would fit and wasted money on one that the seller claimed it would fit. Pretty over it
  12. Have been chasing a manual gearknob for my ZRE. One that's in good condition leather or plastic. Can't find one at a fair price. People asking 100 dollars for a piece of used plastic wrapped in fake leather is NOT fair. Help.. Also I'll post pics of my car after I give her a wash. Cheers
  13. Was just quoted 100 dollars for a second hand one. This is what annoys me. It's a piece of plastic worth about 15 or 20 dollars. Help...
