Hi folks, Hope someone can advise me please. Had to make an emergency stop, and stalled the engine. Wouldn't start afterwards so had to get it recovered to my usual ( non-franchise ) garage. They've had it in there for 3 WEEKS now, and not able to rectify the problem. YES, I'm angry !!! They now say they've had to take it to the Toyota Main Dealer for them to "have a look". Just had a 'call from original garage to say that Caledonia have "plugged" my van in to their diagnostic machine and say - "Yes, it is the emergency stop fuel cut-off". I asked them if it was just a matter of a re-set of the unit ? "No, they've got to order a replacement unit for it", they said. Is this right, or is it just a case of re-setting the unit please ? Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Selwyn - on the Isle of Man.
