On a paseo!?! Why didn't you just take the green wrapping off a milo tin... HAHA what a GOLD comment Just drill a massive hole in your air box. That will increase the 'grunt' noise of the Paseo. The mod is FREE. You will experience increased throttle response and top end performance....your filter will get a little bit more dirty, but it will be louder! Save your money on an exhaust system until you get that 4efte transplant. Or you can replace the whole intake system with an aftermarket filter and cold air intake. It's all pretty easy to do, I can write up a tutorial if you want. I'm still contemplating turbo-ing my 5E-FE - it's got a 200cc advantage on the 4EF-TE and to turbo it is around the same price as a transplant. the 4EFTE transplant is definitely the way to go, reliability is everything and turbo-ing your engine will put much strain on it. go the engine swap and look at modifying that later on down the track. depends how far you want to go really. kane

when is autosalon?

the interior has an almond colured leather in the seats, side walls, part of the doors and part of the dash. hasnt ben painted on mate. the black on the doors and dash is standard.

okay time for an update... got some updated pics and pics of the manifold that didnt last along with the hybrid ct9. air induction is in a different place atm, these pics were taken after getting back from the tuner. mirrors, wipers and eyelids painted and interior shot with gauges. gauges pod being made. the silk road mani that decided to leave me. hybrid CT9 - exhaust fins clipped by 10 degrees and ct12A compressor wheel. the manifold cracked in half nearly so im getting log manifold made so im eagerly awaiting its completion. got some 460cc injectors going in soon along with the following audio components: Pioneer DEH-P8050 headunit Clarion TVX6451 5.8" TV screen Pioneer 6x9 TS-D691S speakers PS2 in glove box Power Inverter Pioneer 800W and Kicker 150W amps mounted in boot Fire extinguisher New alarm i got the TV, headunit, PS2, inverter, fire extinguisher, alarm, K&N pod filter and intake pipe and 2 brand new 17" Silverstone tyres all for $1000 off a mate who wrote his lancer off so i was pretty lucky there i thought anyway thats it for now, i'll keep this updated when more additions are made. cheers kane

pay no attention to this man ^^^^^ listen to this one \/\/\/\/\/\/ A stock looking Paseo with a 4E-FTE would be a nice little sleeper. i have a paseo with a EP82 starlet GT engine transplant, leather interior, 17's etc. they are easy to modify externally and you can pick up a EP82 halfcut for about 1700 which includes wiring aswell, get it installed for not that much and you're laughing. engine mods are easy, and aftermarket parts are getting cheaper and cheaper. it'll put many cars away dont you worry about that. take a look at austarletclub.com for more info. cheers kane

oh thats interesting.. the paintjob was a real rough job, quite a few areas that need attending to. the motor was playing up when i test drove it so chris changed it which was alright. iv got the playstation, tv, headunit and bigger cooler going on soon so that will be decent.

hey mate yeh its going pretty well, spent a bit geting it on the road but its alright now. been doing a few cosmetic things and in the next week or 2 it should be nearly completed engine wise. then its onto the soundy. yeah i bought the car from chris about 1 year ago and i havnt had any problems yet so its all good. turn the heads which is alryt aswell haha. how do you know the car? cheers, kane

hey all, i've been looking thru here for a lil while now and thought i might post a few pics up of my paseo.. still got a fair list of mods to come but im getting there slowly. hope you enjoy.. :D added a few gauges in a fibreglass pod to the dash. the turbo is gettin high flowed, aftermarket exhaust mani goin on and getting tuned in the next 2 weeks. should be alright for some more enjoyable driving.
