I've got a master, black-headed key. Sorry I wasn't clear - what I wanted to know was: is it the same thing if I got a Toyota dealer to cut the key vs any other locksmith?

Hey mate, just came across this post. By getting the key "cut to code", do you getting the key cut from Toyota dealership itself? OR, is it something that other locksmiths can do as well? I am considering getting a spare key for my 2005 Camry Altise from Toyota, and code it myself using the instructions you provided above. My current original key has no issues. Cheers!
