I've seen and read about the stickers the club has to promote itself, but where do we get them? Is there a particular person to chase up or am I too late? Interested in one for the rear windscreen on my lil hatch. :)

i measured the box and the seller told me weight of the intake. 22lbs per pair so each intake + box should be 11lbs which is under 4.98kg.

The dimensions part is optional. I did a calculation using 2000 as sending and 4814 as recieving with 5kg weight and got $17.20 for normal, 50 something for express. So to here from Brisbane should be almost half that?

Yeah sorry it took a bit to reply. I'm still really up for it but I'll need details like how we're paying etc. I can't net bank (I lost my password) but i've monday off so i can go into the bank and transfer as soon as it opens.

P.s. I really like Xplo's suggestion. It's a major bummer being so far away from the performance suppliers. If everyone is cool with the idea I'll pass my address onto Natz in Brisbane :)

Hi all I'm just curious as to the TRD CAI. I've checked all the pinned topic entries regarding it, and the replies, but cannot find what I'm looking for. 1) Does the TRD CAI listed on the TRD NZ site fit into the 1zz facelift, and 2) Can I still get foggies in with the CAI in there.

It might just be how i read it Xoom, but I saw him mention nothing as to your modding intelligence, only the amount you spent. I read it as though he was saying That - If a person spent as much as you have, and had NFI what they were doing, then the rewards would be smaller then had they researched first.

Please guys correct me if I'm wrong, but i would have taken that as a compliment (He's saying you spent it right) Obviously this is presumed being unaware of anything that may have been said in person etc :D

Easiest way to know the legalities is pretty obvious..... just get the number of your local cop station and ask. If they say it's all good, get it in writing and signed with the officers ID code on it. They aren't always out to bust your **** :D

I can tell you with almost 100% certainty that interior lights are permitted provided they are positioned no higher then 10cm below window sill. Red and blue leds and neons are flat out illegal. Exterior varies greatly state to state.

You're in luck i just had the spoiler and side skirts priced fro me with my local Toyota dealer. The Sideskirts are 371 plus about 40 worth of bits and pieces to fit them. That is for EACH side, Colour matched and everything (Super White 2, 2005 Facelift Ascent). The spoiler is 472 plus about 30 for fitting parts. Hope this helps!

(all up for the sideskirts and spoiler installed i was quoted about 1550. Was amazed I actually got a rep that knew what he was talking about! when i said i had a facelift he immediately took the front grille etc out of the price!)

I'm in the "ew it's ugly "boat on this one. I actually saw them the start of last week was in my local dealer when i was checking the price for sportivo spoiler and sideskirts. They had the new models hidden up the back of the Used section, and got all narky when i walked over and had a look. When you stand next to one in person, the headlights bulge out like on the newest Camry, (EWW) and the toyota badge on the rear of the hatch has been pushed out away from the rest of the rear, like someone punched at in from inside. Me and some mates here agree that they moved forward with appearence of the sedan, but backwards with the hatch.

Northy man just curious as to where you got the spoiler. I'm not a big fan of the Sportivo standard and am looking at getting one similar to that you have.

New to the group, got myself a 2005 corolla just before Christmas. (the plain old 2zz122 FE) Just curious as to where you all think i should start the modding. I don't intend on going too nuts with the actual engine, but kit exhaust cai etc are all on the cards. I'll be getting the Sportivo springs and kit from toyota themselves, everything else is up in the air. Ideas?
