No it definatly said maps even my wife was looking at it wondering. It is a petrol engine. It didn't ask for the phonebook it already had that.

Hi there we just bought a RAV4 GX series. Now this series is not meant to have the navigation system they say. Thing is yesterday when we were driving the phone beeped as it was in sync with the media panel, when we looked it said that the media center thing was requesting maps from the phone and to confirm which we did. My question is has the thing gone mad as say it does not have navigation or is this just a normal thing that happens? Oh it is December 2014 model. Thanks
