  1. went to george street for q uick cruise in my friends liberty b4. saw a black facelift stivo going onto george street. looked pretty nice but coudnt full on see it due to being dark. anyways he was waiting at the lights. anyone from here. and also screamed out spotted.. dont kno if you heard.

  2. yeah i think its normal with CAI. but my case is a little different. i usually let the car warm up for like 5 mins when its really cold. the car is not drivable when it is cold. anyways in my case. i instlled my CAI like 5 months ago. i never had this problem. use to go normal when it was cold. and in like the last month it started happening so thats why i wait till it warms up now everymorning. anyway the problem seems to be getting worse everyday. got my car booked in at toyota this monday. gonna leave it overnight so they can do the cold start. hopefully they can sort of fix it. i dont mind the warming up period but just seems to be getting worse. im not taking any chances.

  3. thanks guys!! :D anyways, i've just fit a trd short shifter in today and it feels good!

So far, this baby's loaded with TRD goodies: CAI, Front Strut bar and now, short shifter!

Maybe I should get some TRD badges in...

haha your exactly like me. i got everything the same as you. just looking at buying a TRD sway bar now. but excep i got the TRD badging. i think i can call my car a TRD Corolla. lol a guy at the hornsby toyota didnt wanna touch my car at the service. and i asked why and he said we are not authoried to touch TRD corolla's. i just sat and started laughing out my lungs. the funny part is he was being serious when he said it. he was the most stupidest guy ive ever seen. like wtf? is there any TRD corolla out there.

  4. oh man. some of you might know i went on holidays to nelson bay like 1 week ago. we had a boat but not big enough to go out the heads. anyway were we were staying was rite next to the boat ramp. and i would go out to the boat ramp everyday at about 1 and watch all the guys clean there catch. theres this island which is about 15 km's off shore and they fish around the island. man was i impressed with the fish they were catching. not exactly sure on weight of fish but every boat that came in was bringing about 10, 70 to 80cm snapper. also including roughly 5 flatheads just over 70cm's. there was this guy that came back with 3 yellow fin tuna. my all time favourite fish. and the biggest one weighing in at 25kg. this was one big ***** mofo.

so tempted so sell the stivo and buy a boat. its hard to pick which one. boat or stivo. cant decide.

  5. what a waste of time and money, Injen has you lot sucked in bigtime. You dont need this or any other anti water/hydrolock device. Even on a car with superlow springs60mm+ drop you would have to drive through 30-40cm of water for it to even start to be an issue.....

yeah i see what your point is northy but lets say it rained heavily for 1 or 2 weeks straight. i know the CAI isnt gonna suck in litres of water but like over 2 weeks time wouldnt there be heaps of really small droplets of water that get sucked up into the engine? and im sure even if its a little amount it cant be to good for the engine. just my theory. could be wrong.

  6. yes fishing is the best! im out there fishing atleast 2-3 times a week. anywhere along para river is good. clifton gardens is pretty good for taylor. we got about 2 bucketfuls of them all legal size about a month ago.

far out thats alot of tailor. havent been goin fishing much lately cause of the cold and not the season for proper fish yet. they all seem to have gone hiding but i think as it gets warmer there starting to come back south to sydney. so tempted to go fishing tonight. beatiful weather.

  7. oooh this has got to be my favourite thread. i love fishing. i go on every oppurtunity. wether it is rain, hail or shine im out there wetting a line. in my opinion guys i think sydney harbour is over fished. you might get the odd 1 big fish but i prefer to drive upto entrance or gosford or go out with a boat from sydney heads. my bro went to clifton gardens last weekend at night and caught a 44cm bream and some smaller ones. i think it was just a 1 off. anyways wanna hear everyone elses secret spots.

  8. hey mate. how much did the hydro sheild set you back and were did you order it from. would like one to. i noticed my air filter gets wet on rainy days to. on rainy days the people driving around me must think im drunk cause i go through all the lanes just to avoid puddles so this would be bloody great. and does it fi on most K&n filters?
