I actually like the gold, it has a touch of class about it. We went for the red for a more family feel. As you said to each his own..

Finally organised posting the new Aurion. Have thrown in a couple of the Celica we traded in for it. It's all good.

This is our old ride. It was a great car and a real pity we has to trade it in but as the family grows, so to the transport. This is the new car, great so far. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

mate its probably faulty because ive got no problems in my zr6 as i jst got it 1 week ago and everything works. Get it checked out at toyota. İ say its faulty. it has to open up when you press lightly to release it. Agree 100%, Get it looked at straight away before they can come up with any stupid excuses.

Almost bang on $40K for ZR6 with roof, darkest legal tint, heavy duty towbar, mats, bonnet and headlight protectors. Dont know how that stacks up against others but I am happy with the deal :D Well as far as I'm concerned that's a great price. Well done. Might look at that option next time. Thanks

I reckon the lights are fantanstic, give very good vision. Don't know what the problem there is. My lights appear to be very white, no yellow at all. Haven't really tested out the stereo yet as generally have the 14 month old in the car with us, so no point. Really how often do you need to have the music on that loud? Saw the photo's of your car, looking very nice. Will post mine soon too. Hey, you don'y need to wait 5000 km to push your car either. These engines are bullet proof, 500-1000 km will be fine, trust me.

by the way i got the aurion zr6 2 days ago in gold. Awesome car. I absolutely love it. All it needs now is wheels and a crazy air intake. :) havent passed 4000 revs yet but it sure does prove that it has power. :) You're right there mate, there's to much. If you give her too much stick cars safety functions kick in and cut down power. Would be good to be able to turn it off and really see its potential. Although I have heard Toyota did this as you wouldn't be able to control the car from take off.

I must impose myself on this topic. I have been making da pizza alla authentic italian pizza restaurant for around 15 years. The best pizza's you will ever taste by far. Most popular pizza - Sam's Special Double pastry mozerella cheese hot salami mushrooms green peppers fresh sliced tomato bacon on top. If you're ever in Geelong head in to Eltoro's Pizza and Restaurant - Moorabool St (spanish name but italain cuisine, that was the name of the shop when it was taken over some 35 years ago). You will not be dissapointed. Be warned - you get what you pay for. Rubbish Domino's, Pizza Hut etc etc. Might as well eat plastic.

Trust me fellow (soon to be) aurion owner. It's defintely worth the wait. The car is absolutley awseome and it's just getting better and better. Value for money by a long shot, and as smooth a drive as the $100k plus cars. All the best with it

As far as I'm aware they are pure white. Lights are fantanstic on this car, they really give good vision at night. When travelling in another car ahead of ZR6 looks like lights are really dull but that's not the case at all. ey guys, i just picked up my new zr6 aurion 3 days ago, and i can say it's a damn nice car...well anyway with my new car, it comes with a odo dimer so i am able to dim it to as dark as i like to as bright as possible to light up the whole front. So maybe you guys could ask your dealers to get this dimer installed on your cars? cheers, dice The dimmer in my ZR6 only dims the Instrument cluster, not the panel surrounding the radio. Are you saying that your radio blue light surround gets dimmed when you dim the dash display? I looked at pulling apart the display to replace the led's however it doesn't look that easy. I was able to get the stereo/hvac control panel out easily, but there seems to be a fair bit of dissasembly required to actaully get to the lighting around the stereo. oh..lol, sorry..my bad i didnt read it properly...nuh i can't dim the blue light around the radio, i am not too fussed about the blue lighting around the radio for it's not overly bright on my car with the nav system. That would be right as the NAV system is a totally diferent set-up. The brightness doesn't bother me greatly but it would be nice to be able control it, if you know what I mean.

Okay, this is what I'll do. Next service, which is not too far away, I'll have a chat to the service manager about it. If he gives me any info at all I'll post it. There's got to be a way of dimming the thing.

yes this is possible, open up the console, change the led bulb, which i m doing very very soon... facing the same problem... but thinkin of changing the whole console, i hv to recosider on wat to do.. Open the console, u can see the led. Well really, I think that's crap if that's the only way to dim the light. I'll be bringing it up with my dealer when I take the car in for its 1000 km service.

Sorry guys, can't seem to see what the problem is. I find it quite easy to read the speedo and everything else on the display. My only beef, although just a small one, is I can't reduce the brightness of the radio dispaly at night. It virtually lights up the whole car when you're driving. If there is a way to dim it a bit can someone please let me know. Thanks.

They have stated that it will not be comparable to the HSV/FPV, so all I was saying is why bother making a car that is a small step up from the Aurion. Everyone got excited about it (just read past threads) and it looks great too, although when we are dealing with cars of this ilk, POWER is high on the list. Who cares how it handles, that's the mentality at that level. That's all I meant by it. I couldn't give a jacks crack about the power, I put my foot down on my car the other day and nearly ended up on the side of the road, scared the **** out of me, had to change my pants when I got home. Really when you think about it no point having the power under the bonnet if you can't get it down onto the tarmac. I agree on that.

What are Toyota doing?? There's been plenty of hype about the TRD model to be released later this year to challenge the HSV and FPV cars. Now I hear toyota are cutting down the power of the engine to around 235 kW. This will surely not deliver the knockout blow to Holden and Ford that I was expecting. They say it will be a step up from the Aurion sportivo, not a step across from an FPV or HSV car. Why would they bother then?? It's pretty dissapointing really.

You got papers??? My parents got this option with their camry and there were no papers... Time to give Toyota a call? Yes, the protection stuff (on the car which the dealership had done) comes with a paper certicate with a serial number along with a folder of what I'm required to do if I was to maintain it under warranty. Yeah, got the same deal, mine says I have to take it in to authorised dealer 30 days prior or after each one year anniversary - so that's the paint protection, vinyl protection and leather protection. Each yearly inspection is free and it clearly states that no waxing of car as this may dull the paint. Weird ****!!!

It came from Toyota Cardiff. Not sure if anyone drove it. It had 8km on it. The white ones are probably harder to sell, can't see why. I think with window tint, they look very classy. Oh yeah.... white or red or blue would be the sexiest! I got a red,it was either that or white(SX6 white or ZR6 red) Whites very nice to!! Just curious why you would want the SX in white and ZR6 in red? I mean there's no difference in shape, only exterior difference is the sensors. I got the ZR6 in red and the windows tinted and was pleasantly suprised with the result, especially with black personalised number plates.
