If you going to fab your own, if you copy the TRD design it runs parallel to the width of the battery also to note the maf is placed in the middle.
Because the tube goes parallel, the TRD desugn uses a 45 degree couple which I've heard can be hard to source.
injen and the rest design sweeps away from the battery in an upside down V Path. Then used a straight coupler than 45 deg. To join with the throttle body bl
Cheers bro! Ill defiantly look into it man
It's actually looking like it would be cheaper to order my intake from america, even with the bad exchange rates atm
Averaging about 500$ per intake system from aus, where as american sites are asking like 370 without postage -
I've been looking around but am having trouble finding an australian source, anyone know where i should look for the injen intake?

Looking at the Injen intake atm, with uni on now it'd be hard for me to find the time as i work weekends aswell :(

Just not sure on how i'll figure out one how to pipe it, i understand it goes near the front bumper alongside the inner wheel, just concerned that i buy piping and then it's all over the place

Like I said, I'll keep waiting for now and see what's best, my mate wants a CAI for his SV6 so if we can make one for both of our cars that'd be sweet:)
Any benefits to buying over making one myself?:)

CES is overpriced for what it is, I make my own. The TRD is a good intake, people that have problems with it need to clean their MAF.
My mate suggested we just make our own and buy a pod, not sure though ill have to see i suppose :)

Screams in top end, one of the loudest you can get.
Haven't had any issues with it since I installed it. Did the ECU reset and she still runs like a dream.
Where'd you get it from man? :)

Also, not sure it's been done before but has anyone put mudflaps on their stivo? Might sound strange but if they were subtle they would probably look alright. Just a thought :)

I've noticed a few people having issues with the trd intake, shame :(
I've looked at the CAI/SRI thread and pretty set on a CAI, you guys had much experience with any other brands? I do like the look of the CES ones but couldn't find them anywhere. -
You mean ECU?

Like the trd shifer ! Well dun
Cheers man! Picked it up for like 15 bucks so i'm really happy with it! :)
Anyone have any other ideas? Might look at getting some headers and a cold air intake soon as everything else is done :) -
100% prefer mine to be honest. they'd look nice if you were going for a sleeper kind of look i'd say. :)

Nice car mate!
Those are actually the top stage eye lids, they are quite hard to find these days.
I have c-one reps waiting to go on, they look a little less aggressive.
I had no idea, i assumed only c-one made the eyelids! :) They definitely are a great addition though :)

Sorry for it being so long, i was going to put the photo's of the shifter and the pair of stivo's in another post but i suppose it wouldn't have made a difference! :) Cheers guys! :)

Hey guys, i've been following this forum for quite awhile as i've been interested in buying a Sportivo for awhile and as destiny came to be i would indeed end up with one! This is my 2005 Corolla Sportivo with a few mods I've done alone and with my best mate recently. Prior to purchasing this car, i did look at a few others including one that i thought i'd get, though it had been in an accident that was unrecorded and lacked any service history what so ever. I wasn't expecting perfection by any means and i knew that it would be almost impossible to find. Thus, i settled with my beautiful example of a sportivo and i'm trying to create something i can be proud of.I'm located in Wa and am curious as to how many people still own a stivo on this forum as it's been a lot slower as of late I've noticed. The red Stivo is a 2003 model and is owned by my step dad and is also the car i learnt in. I think he's pretty proud to know that i've also become attached the last non gutless corolla made by Toyota. ;)
Updating this as of Sept. 13th, 2016 so you're not having to find what the car's looking like at the moment!
