  1. Just to add to the thread, it migth save people some money. When i bougth my sportivo it only came with one key. Of course toyota want $300+ for it. So i bougth one of ebay for $80, looks exactly the same as toyota with gold logo at the back, honestly real good key and you cant tell the difference. Cutting was $11.95 and coding $30 at toyota and it took 20 min. Here is the link to the guy that sold me the key on ebay He doesnt have any corolla ones listed but i guess it doesnt hurt to ask if he can get some. Hope this saves some one heaps of money like it did for me. If you need any more info feel free to pm me. Thx

  4. you can try http://www.spoilershop.com.au, they have some stuff for the corolla, or try get in contact with Fibervision, they are in Welshpool and they do similair if not the same body kits as jetspeed, or forget the body kits just get a 4agze frontcut from Toyota Wreckers (bout same price as fitting a body kit) and have way more fun with you seca
  5. I only have the numbers for pre facelift, they are like $300 Got mine from Fremantle Toyota, so maybe you can go see them, they are pretty good i get all my Toyota parts from them
  6. yeah it was good, to bad i didnt have time to go all the way to rockingham, anyway i was there in a white sportivo next to that black type r and soarer didnt realise that was you, i would have said hi, and nice car real sleeper

  8. http://www.tweakit.net/shop/ try that, its got some nice intakes for 20v
  9. yeah thats what he told me, that they did got a code relating to the vvtli, but they cleared it and it shouldnt come up again, the car wasnt in the shop for no longer than 20 min, but the problem wasnt fixed at all, so i went back as soon as realised that like on my way home and booked it in for monday, and they said they will spend some time on it and see what needs replacing i think they just wanna rip me off for few hundred dollars,
  10. I took mine to Toyota today, and they said it came up with a code for vvtli, but should be ok, and on the way home the problems was still there, so i booked it in and they said they will spend some time on it and see whats need replacing,
  11. going by that logic, then it must be one of the sensors that are fouled. Just take it into a dealer so they can read the error codes. they should be able to tell you pretty easily which sensor is stuffed. Could also be a dirty VVL oil filter. what is VVL oil filter is that just normal oil filter or its another one
  12. it wont be going to Canberra Toyota for sure, I am in perth
  13. so best thing to do is take to toyota and get them to check it out
  14. looks like it is comes and goes when it feels like it,
  15. i am guessing if it is lift bolts that the lift wouldnt than be kicking in at all and if it was it wouldnt pull as hard as it should but mine does pull real hard when it comes on
  16. got mine today, dannyboy picked his up aswell and yes battling with wrapping was fun, damn how many roles of tape you used to pack it all up :D
  17. car has done 50 000, hasnt been to toyota yet, they are saying the recall has been done so i am guessing its not that,
  18. I dont think my is like that much, cos it still pulls quite good it just stops at 7 and doesnt engane lift, and its fully random like i would take of from one traffic light and boom lift kicks in, next traffic light nothing cuts out at 7
  19. anyone got any suggestions or clues at what could be wrong? is it the ecu recall? i wanna solve this problems asap and enjoy driving the car
  20. havent got mine yet, will let you know once i do hopefully i get em soon
  21. Yeah i know not to rev it when its cold and the car is not reved past 4k b4 temp needle is in the middle its not the first car i have, but i dont know what lift sensors are, also i have no idea what oil is in the car and lift enganing does have something to do with oil pressure could oil change maybe fix it.
  22. Hi all I just want see if anyone knows why does my sportivo sometimes just cut out at 7k rpm and doesnt not enage lift, and some times just screams to 8k with lift kicking in at 6 like it should, it does it randomly. I fitted an trd cai, and did the ecu reset and it was fine for few days and now its doing it again. I called toyota about the ecu recall and gave them my vin to check and they say it has been done, is it possible it needs doing it again? ???????
