Flashing 4WD Lo and VSC and Engine warning lights

This is an indication of an EGR Fault. I restricted the return exhaust gas flow at the cast alumunium right angle fitting by inserting a metal plate with a small hole in it.(6mm) The mentioned lights come on about once a week at random intervals. As I have a Scangauge, I am able to reset the codes easily. Toyota does know about the light sequence but appears to be ignorant as far as customers are concerned.
