  1. once i got the dosh... still a long time b4 that day will come.

i wanted the screen out of view of other motorists so i was considering the lower space...

but still toying with the idea of doing it the other way round

jase .. u seen my post ???? check my rides ... u can see my install .. or i will be at the shop on sunday sometime if you are there

  2. siiiiick jason... you know i think its awesome...

time for the spoiler.. how did calling companies go? did you get a chance to do that this morning?

I think ill do the spoiler over christmas .... when its a bit quieter ..

  3. In regards to the location and install ... its not possible to fit a single din unit in that spot with our removing the door/flap ....

the unit is as far back as it can go ...

that's why I was thinking guages... I'll bring the gauges up one time and let you see so I can get your expert opinion on them ;)

whats that weird shaped thing above the clock???

looks like a rear view mirror..........but what is it?

    the PSP

yeah . ill have a geez ... but .. nothing is impossible ... ... actually i lie ... but im sure we can work something out ...

and yes .... thats the psp holder ... look at the other pics in this thread ... and you will see it in action ...

im turning in to a screen slut .... woooo

  4. I've been contemplating the same location, but what if you want to play with the aircon?

The aircon is fun to play with .. but the xbox is more fun ! hahahaha ..

umm the screen is mototrised ...

so 1 tap of a button and the screen moves .. hence playing with the aircon is still fun and easy ..

  5. The mission .... put this unit ... in that spot ..

During ..... the wiring and mess ... its alot neater now ....

    Then used these .....

Now it looks like this ... and 2 fuses later ........

  6. Ok .. does anyone here have 10-15 dyno charts of the same car they can email me ??

For those who know about 6 Sigma (process improvement) ... 1 of the steps is called an MSA ( Measuring system analysis)

This is to essentially measure the measurer .......... and statistically prove how reliable and effective it can be.

EG. a real test i did was ... drew a line on a piece of paper ... gave the same ruler to 10 different ppl ... and got them to measure the length of the line.... Obviously i got slightly different results ...

when I plugged the numbers in to a statistical program (for all those stats ppl out there) my p values were <.01 hence suggesting that the variation amongst those 10 ppl was acceptable ...

So imagine .. line = car, ruler=dyno and 10 different ppl = different runs

If someone has 10-15 data points/dyno charts ... im more than happy to plug these numbers in and see if it is the same .. but i dont think so ...gut feel is that the numbers wont be good enough to stastically prove that a dyno is an accurate way to measure ....

Yes yes ... its still a way to measure .... but u can measure distance with a ruler or with a piece of string ??

If we want to start measuring against ourselves we really should make sure the tool we are using to measure is accurate ..

    In fact

If 10 ppl had 10-15 dyno charts each ... i could stastically prove which "variables" impact a dyno the most..

does anyone have that kinda data I can play around with ??

  7. good work phill and sam!!

that lift video wouldn't download.........who was it?..........

hopefully next month will be bigger and better !!

terrigal anyone? for another day one? what y'all think ??? so our cruises and events co-ordinator can get some maps and routes going for the next meet. say october 29 if we having a day meet or october 28 if we just gonna have a normal monthly night meet.?

If we do terrigal there is no need for maps ....
