I have had my 2020 RAV4 since new so am very familiar with the hybrid operation. When driving, the green EV indicator turns on and off regularly. However, there are also regular times when the RAV doesn't want to enter EV and the EV indicator stays off. Of course this does happen this when the hybrid battery is low, but I have noticed this problem mostly occurs when the hybrid battery is greater than 1/2 full, say 5 or 6 out of 8 segments on the battery indicator. Even waiting at traffic lights, my RAV may sit with the combustion engine running, and hybrid battery with plenty of charge.
Wondering if anyone else has noticed anything similar?
