  1. Hi I've just posted a tutorial for programming a new OEM remote for a 99 Camry. A couple of things to consider... Some of the non-OEM transmitters on Amazon or ebay are learning transmitters and need a working transmitter to learn from. These remotes should come with instructions for learning the frequency of the working remote. The OEM transmitter has a set frequency which the car's onboard computer must programme and store. Refer to the tutorial for how to do that. Also you can buy CR2032 batteries with terminals from Jaycar. Modifying and soldering is necessary. Hope that helps.
  2. 1) Sit in drivers seat. Make sure doors are closed and headlights off. 2) Insert key, push in and turn key to ignition on position (not starting engine) then back to lock position. Do this three times within 5 seconds finishing in the ignition on position on the third turn. 3) The Security light on the instrument display will light up for 5 seconds. Press the button on any remotes during this time and the car will lock and turn on hazard lights once. 4) Turn key back to lock and remove. 5) Test all remotes work to unlock and lock car. * I believe up to four remotes can be programmed at once.
