Air flow meter dirty?? if your car is hesitating a bit...like have a black spot when reving the car then its your air flow meter that doesnt like the extra air comming through...correct me if im wrong.

Hi All got some problems with my dome light on the sportivo.....the dome light it self works okay when switched to on.. but when I switch it to DOOR it does not work...anyone had any problems with this before?? its nothing major but the lil things that are annoying thats all Thanks in advance,

actually it really depends....I know for turbo cars (new) the Air Flow is controlled by the ECu...if that doesnt like more cold air the car will become more hesitant to drive. For N/A cars like the corolla, Im not too sure if you need to get the car re-tuned after modifying the air flow. Surely not??? But yeah i guess just reset the ECU after installing the POD....well see....im still waiting for the part from NENGUN....SO SLOW !!!!!!!!

cool thanks....i'll try it...as ive ordered one but since have not received it prior to selling my wrx......but yeah...hopefully the AFM (MAF) doesnt kick up a fuss about extra cold air like the Subi.. so prob just need to block off the vacuum line on the intake......its so cool how Toyota used all the same engine layouts since *** knows...

under the bonnet of the sportivo it has a AFM (Air flow meter) attached, this looks exactly like my WRX afm, now I have a Apexi Power intake pod filter with AFM attachments, anyone know if this will work on the corolla? The power intake kit

ebays got some D2 for corolla;s...... yeah cusco worth the extra cash....or get some Tein Ha's for the street.....16 damper settings and camber settings as well :)

cost of car + the engine conversion = worth it?? unless your gonna keep the car forever <_< also it will prob be better to sell the car and get something that has more ommppphhh....

Sorry...I'll rephrase..... when looking down the engine bay you on the passenger side you can see straight down to the ground. Should there be a PLastic guard there??? Also I would think there is so water does not splash up against the engine. Thanks Andre

thanks guys..... well I just picked up my Sportivo....dodgy toyota dealers after selling the car to you they stop being nice... anyways I got 3 sets of keys.....2 masters with immobiliser buttons and 1 grey key... the thing is that only 1 key is cut out and fits every lock..... the other 2 does not it seems they have different thread patterns......is this normal?? would I need to get it cut...I assume not as the other 2 keys that dont fit are already cut...maybe they gave me wrong keys... anyways what a waste of time gotta drive into the melbourne city and give them hell!! Car I think is slow....maybe its just because im use to the turbo rush...which i dont have to wait until 6000rpm hehehe Havent really had a chance to give it hell yet......but leather seats are pretty nice hehehe Cheers, Andre

no worries///im picking up the car on tuesday...got the dealer to detail everything first and throw in some mats... , including the leather trim inside.. =D
