  1. my previous intergra had 225/17/45 and I had the similar cracks in the front at the inside . DNT repair it. I did twice and still leaks. It was a slow leak over 2 weeks....so. DNT. just buy a new one or try to get replacement if you talk to them nicely..
  2. thank guys. My orginal plan is to use a complete afetr market computer. The moltec is NICE....but expensive... I have spoken to haltec. They are releasing a new e8 for corrola...but I just have to wait. The good news came on the weekend was, I managed to see what spark plug socket to use..the dame Toyota is using 6/19 away from 16mm standard type. The plug they useing ALREADy iridium -denso sc20..... So now I know. At Peps, a new t40 turbo and t70 made in japan by TTI? 299$ and 399$ respectively....thas a bargain. I might find out how much is for t25 or t28 today... Thanks guys.
  3. LOL and there's the magical 5k limit broken already... sounds good to me. Oh and yeah... i changed my sparkplugs... my 0-100 went from 7.5 to 6.5 Dead serious. Timed off the second hand on my watch, while driving waoh...have you done these sort of exercise befroe....1 sec off....you must be using nitrous spark plug I am still to figure out my plug on the weekend..i might use a smaller size plug socket...
  4. please, 16 years old??//boasting....I think I am old enougt to be your father by the way, my mechanic told me the budget turbo. This is what I account for....you either take it or leave it. Sometimes, over enginnering or doing is a waste of money.. ok......I think people should be more modest here rather than "arrogant"..dnt you think??? ps all my time trials are my own hobbies,,,,as long as I enjoyed and prove it...so be it. We all leave in science world arent we??
  5. ok okok... if youi are talking forged pistons..1000$ extra for sure. but I am not too greedy on power. once its t25. Let it be. Ecu.i am waiting fro haltec new e8 that works with electronic throttle that replaces the whole current ecu(1700$). Tunning in -in house in campsie-400$. Liverpool exhaust do all manifold and pipes including silcon...all for 1000$. injectors....use stock would be enoug for my need 180kw. what you think???
  6. what are you laughing at me xxxxxxx. I know few guys does the turbo in sydney, fro what i want ...around 5000$ is enough. my mate in brisbance is doing his civic b16a and so far 4500$ -----I am still waiting news from him.
  7. ok ok, every one. No more hondas...so far the new corolla is very very good to me in terms of noise and its refinement ....I could not beleive it. the o.2 sec time was done at random and also on 4 runs at max. each time I time trial. at least it has proven to myself , you either beleive it or not...perhaps all car are different....no BS from me mate. wait till I do my exhaust.... so far 700$ saved up for turbo set up
  8. thanks everyone. I am using the spark plug tool that I USED for honda...but obviousely it does not work -16mm long deep socket. I think it must be the SMALLER socket???what size? You should have the tool in your boot... I wouldn't bother changing to iridium though, I found it made no discernable difference to performance or economy. It's probably different once you start getting into heavy modifications though. ok ok no offence to anyone. I did a lots time trials with my previous b18c both using standadrd R ngk vs irradium. and the result was 0-100km/h difference around 0.2 sec... I also tried the airnix ram pod filter vs stock type r filter...quess waht. Airnix is making a lose-0.2 sec slower but more noise......I do all small mods based on stop watch /g tec but not on common sense.
  9. thanks everyone. I am using the spark plug tool that I USED for honda...but obviousely it does not work -16mm long deep socket. I think it must be the SMALLER socket???what size?
  10. Hi there, I recently being reading too much XXXXXX about spark plugs. and thought I need change my spark plug. Nothing wrong with current one. I would like to change to iradium plugs...when when coil pack removed. I can not access the sockets onto the plugs, it just spins around....Its differnt to honda. when I ring up tye dealer, they said they have not done one yet <_< have anyone done it? So, if I do have open upthe rocket cover, should I repalce the new gasket? Help??? tahnks
  11. true, thas why I backed off after I reached the end of my second gear. but still under 90 zone no more trials.
  12. Ok, guys, just got some feed back from my friends 1991 b16a and b18c turbo update. 1991 run 8psi with stock internal does 140kw at the wheel. The type r guys(his mate does-200kw at the wheels, turbo boost on at 5000rpm. Meanwhile, as I promised to test out my real time short drag with big v8s.....at 90zone. story one. vs holden ute with a motor bike on the back. we both take off at the same time, 1st we were head to head, after 60 he was ahead by 1/2 car with amassive wheel chrip so do I at second. at 90 I was one car behind and backed off. 2) vs CV8....I knew he was comming with his sporty exhaust, at teh rolling starts approach the lights, I droped to first at 5000rpm, and to second quickly, he was ratehr supprised and starts to wake up when at 80 he starts to come closer, but I was already 1.5 car ahead all the way from the start. all I canhear is the wheel spin from him.... so I know on drag strip I will lose out, when comes to driver skills...its a different story... I am happy with the corolla... ahve your say.....
  13. ok, ok thanks to you all. specially Minto and b18c. I just got news for my friends with b16a compression 10:4:1(sorry not 11:1). with his set up, t28 aimming 140kw at the wheel. NO decompression required. Thats also means with my 10:0:1 is an easy task. However, the TUNNING is the most important part to either blow /or not to blow up the moto. I want my car with quite and good ride quality, of course, I want ALL seats IN........and aircon I dnt want more revs...I have done before 8000-9000 ,,,,but too much noise now and I am getting old....haaa and its time to enjoy something different 8psi? stay tune...
  14. thanks to your all, especially to Xoom and Minto. My friends in Brisbance has a jdm b16a(1992 model0 has done 200000km, He just bought a t28 second hand turbo kits for it. I am waiting to hear his set up and I know with b16a the compression is higher 11;0;1, at this stage, I dnt think he is going to decompress the engine . My mate 89 corrola run 12 psi-127kw at the wheel...I thinks its 900kg body. He beats all evos (0-100-120 all the way)in evo club except one. With my car, how about run low boost 4 psi for a start, before I go near the boundry. This is a bolt on only. I get MAF sensor right?
