  1. Mate!!!!! I have work tomorrow til 9PM. Dammit!

I was wanting to meet up with u guys for ages man...I have to miss out again. :(

Anyway. Have fun guys...I might meet up after work if u guys are still cruising. I'll give TJ a call...i still have ur number. I cherish it mate! ;)

  2. Hey guys.....I just got the gear selector cable fixed and is free from rattles!!!

    Yay!!

Just got it back yesterday and all seems good.

The down thing is that they stuffed up the paint job on my door. It was suppose to be resprayed because there is a patch on the door which is from a bad paint job from the factory. They said that they will respray the whole door! When it came back it was only sprayed over the patch. ***** me off!. The old patch is gone and now there is a different patch!! They said that they will have to do it again coz they actually send it off to a panel beater to do it. Now i'll have to take it in again. What a *****!

I'm concerned that when they respray it the look will be different to the factory paint job. There should be ripples in the paint. Can they get that affect if they respray the door? Does anyone know if this is possible?

  3. Same here...I concentrated on driving it really hard and didn;t notice any other noise. i even turned on the air con and revved it. It didn't lose any power. The dealer also said that this car doesn;t lose power when u have A/C on. But now that I have my car and turn the A/C on, it feels like I lose a lot of power.

    God Dammit Why???? :(

  4. he cant help me and there is nufin more he can do for me and that if i had test driven 2 rollas that didnt make that noise i must of driven the only 2 ever made by toyota that didnt carry that noise now if thats not saying ur a lier to ur face i dont know what is so i simply ended the convo there and away the phone rang to toyota head office only to be told that the rattle is a "characteristic" of the car  boy i wasnt happy so i accused them of stealing people's money of falsly selling dodgy products without full disclosure and asked if they were tellin sales people to advise customers of the issue and that i was going to go to a dealership and ask if they have any probs with the sportivo and if they say no i was gona pursue it further etc etc etc but man all i can say is customer service went south faster than the sportivo when its in lift once i signed the dotted line

What xoom is trying to say and which i agree is that if the dealer knows about the problem and don't want to help fix it and try to palm you off, then we would have to go to a higher authority. Sure if the problem is fixable and that they do acknowledge the problem then there would be no issues against the dealer. When they know about the problem but don;t wanna fix it and deny it, that's bull!

  5. Yeah...that's what i thought. Try to talk u into it but i didn;t know it actually makes a difference. There was an NRMA report about paint protection advising that it comes standard from the factory and to refuse it if the dealer offers it to u. I forgot when this article was.

I just think it is a big rip off.
