  3. gday guys, when driving my rolla at 80 plus kms on a freeway,my steering wheel drops towards the right hand side and feels tight(in other words steering wheel does not stay centred),what could cause this prob?? steering feels ok on back streets and sits centred,but not at high speeds on freeways. tyres are pumped right,alignment is correct. all the best, lauschie

  5. go to another dealer in future. buy battery elsewhere too. had probs regarding a warranty deal regarding my rear axle beam. wanted 1700 out of me. claimed axle was damaged when car reversed into the front of me. rear axle beam could have been damaged if it was the back but not the front. ****** off frankston toyota in vic. all the best, lauschie
  6. gday guys, just had a wheel alignment done on my rolla,the car stays straight,which is good,however the steering wheel drops a little bit to right hand side and feels tight if i try to put it back to dead centre whlist driving. problem is annoying when at high speed on freeways. does anyone know what this prob is and how to get it fixed?? all the best, lauschie
  7. gday guys, can any of you guys recommend a good suspension place in melbourne that can fit a rear axle beam and a place that does A1 wheel alignmemts. very fussy about alignment always need dead straight wheels and dead straight steering wheel. all the best, lauschie

  11. gday guys, just had a new set of tyres put on my 2003 corolla hatch. after i got car back i noticed that the steering wheel sort of drops to the right when driving on freeways.it is ok on back street and feels comfortable to drive,but on freeways it feels crappy. how are not straight steering wheels put back so they sit dead centre?? all the best, lauschie
  12. gday guys, my 03 corolla hatch seems to be getting alot of rust in the centre of alll 4 brake rotors.the car is fitted with alloy wheels and rotors are more exposed then if it had stock rims and caps.does anyone know of a place in melbourne that can fix rusty rotors or where in melbourne i can buy rotors that are rust proof in centre and around edges. all the best, lauschie

  15. u might be lucky i was booked in SA two years ago on a VIC licence and never lost a point. just ring the RTA and find out what your points are,if they are the same as b4 u should be fine. wait 4 at least 6 to 8 weeks after fine has been paid though. all the best, lauschie

  18. if they are toyota seat covers take it to a service dealership and get them to put it on. my front seats had to be removed for them to put the seat covers on properly. all the best, lauschie
  19. gday guys, just received a new RUNX badge for my corolla ascent hatchback today.have any of you guys replaced the back badges?? do i just remove the ascent badge and put runx there so that it reads corolla runx or do i remove both corolla and ascent and put runx badge where corolla badge was?? how do i remove the badge or badges and what liquid do i used to remove old glue?? all the best, lauschie
  20. gday russ, had my 40000km service done about 2 months ago at frankston toyota in victoria. cost was $285.00, included new oil and filter,spark plugs, air filter and brake adjustments,possible more things where changed need to look at service docket again. all the best, lauschie

  22. gday, if you are in melb go to frankston toyota and ask for joe esmaty. did a good deal for me in 2003 on a corolla. included discounted servicing and parts/acc,free loan car when my car is being serviced,tinted windows.they also have a great service dept lead by warren jacobs and the friendly crew down there. all the best, lauschie
  23. gday, any of u guys know how to remove rust from brake rotors?? i have alloy wheels on my rolla and the rotors look dodgy cos of the rust that started happening last year. does anyone know where i can buy brake rotors that have a black or dark blue centre already on them,i have seen a few rollas around with black centres on rotors and they look great and show no sign of rust. all the best, lauschie
