Could this be a design problem with the gearbox? It's going to be cheaper to put in a secondhand gearbox than to fix the current one. Anyone know where I can get my hands on gearbox to replace it?

it's a dull ticking noise, increase with speed. can't hear it in forth doing 60km, but can hear it in fifth doing 60km as well. it doesn't affect the driving yet, but I'm going to take it to a transmission place tomorrow to have it look at.

Hi Guys, My 2002 Levin manual is making noises from the gearbox when it's in fourth and fifth gear. Is there any known issues with this gearbox? This is the second gearbox for my car already, first one has noises in second to fifth gear, changed it at 110,000km to a second hand gearbox with about 27,000km of usage. I have just tick over 170,000km. BB
