  1. I was rotating the tires with my dad the other week and just wondering where the rear jacking point is. I looked in the manual and it shows a nice thick metal which looks correct just behind the spare tire and infront of the rear sway. But upon inspection its a weak piece of metal which looks quite fragile...:blink::blink:. Or is this the right point im scared to break it......

  2. A FTO GPX is a V6 2litre MIVEC, they are quite torquey, so they should jump the start im guessing, but the 2zz has good top end so it should catch up after 2nd gear. But this is assuming its a manual GPX, a tiptronic would be slower. But there are some FTOs with the 5 speed tip, but they are rare.

Mate had a FTO before, they handle awesome stock. I love the look of them though, some hate it but you have to give credit as it still looks like a modern car.

  3. Yep im still running stockies atm. When i have time im going to lower it further, just 1 finger gap hehe. i have to anyways because the front is higher haha and rear lower :blink: The front skirt has scrapped a fair bit already :D but its underneath so doesnt matter.

Its been like 2 months since i have installed these, i must say they are quite comfortable. no where near stock comfort, but there not overkill like spine breakn. I recently upped the damping as it was getting a lil too comfortable or me getting used to it :P . Better rubber is a must in the future, especially in the wet the turanzas dont grip, but in the dry there above average

  4. I just performed my routine 5000kms oil change today, i usually use castrol formula R and was shocked when i couldnt find it. After looking around i noticed it has been replaced by Castrol Edge 5w-30. After the oil change i went for a quick drive and give this improved oil a big thumbs up :lol: . The car seems to rev more freely than before, so there must of been an improvement or my oil was just old ahahha which i doubt as i change it every 5000kms

I highly recommend this oil for others to use as well ;) ;)

  5. The bodyroll has been reduced heaps i dun notice it anymore to be honest. If i get a rear sway it will be a handling gimp hehe. :P :P It is a lil stiff but no where near back breakn. Im gona adjust the dampers softer, as it is in the middle right now just for a lil more comfort.

i really notice the difference on some corners, where i couldnt go fast :lol: b4 but now it just goes im like :o :o :o :o

  6. Yep from experinece dont use the cream, very hard work to apply. Takes me nearly over 2hrs to apply, and make sure you use a proper towel i fink terry towel as it helps heaps. I want to finish using it before i buy the foam, i sound tight but yeah. DONT GET THE CREAM :angry:

  7. I just picked up my coils in the morning, and got them installed as well. All i can say is awesome :D :D , i think i just need better tyres to grip now but that is later down the track. The ride is not compromised much at all, it is stiffer than standard as expected but not painfull ride at all. I was suprised, as when they were installed i did the push up down test and damn dey didnt move much :o :o :o :o . These are a bang 4 buck mod, that will increase handling, all i need extra is a rear sway bar, and ill be happy.

2 fingers gaps is what i lowered it to, had to still be able to drive up the driveway. Had one incident :( :( . The 2 front sway bar holder nut snapped <_< <_< (TAIWAN QUALITY). Took like an hr to get the old screws out, when they finally were removed we used high tensile bolts. Everything was smooth sailing from there.

i highly recommend these coils to anyone lookn to get coils

haha blue STivo heres d review u were waitn for. Ill make an effort 2 come to the next meet and you can see for urself
