I haven't driven a s2000 but have driven a 350 Touring
Man the thing is so smooth and fast, those brembros work like magic too.
I'm sure the s2000 can be more fun, but day to day I feel the 350 was a good mix of power and refinement, the interior is beautiful too, electric seats are abit slow though :P
It's worth the money if you want a 2 seater coupe, but I would spend that money on something with more doors.

hey it's down to personal taste, get them if you like them
i have *** dam flags on the side of my car

You gotta celebrate with a burnout and post up the video here...
lol how do i burnout with a front wheel drive auto?
where's the fun if we tell you? :P

isn't the blitz kit made for the 1zz? i thought they have been discontinued too
blitz kits were awesome, had the option of intercooling
-
no wonder i see people with their plates wedged behind their license plates
in vic we can pretty much have it anywhere, when we introduced the graduated system, vic roads gave out those sticky ones that stick to the inside of your window
man looks to suck to be a p plater these days
thou the rest of us have the 110 km speed limit :(
-
There have been supercharged exiges for ages
In the Europe, TTE released a supercharged T-sport, there is a place in england that has kits available, ecu and all, it is also a non-intercooled supercharger
http://www.prolex-uk.com/store/product_inf...products_id=478
Would of been a good buy when our currency was higher.
Rotex superchargers have been proven to work on 2zz's, usually controlled by a Power FC, might wanna lower the compression ratio when using these though.
But I don't see why 4-5 psi wouldn't work on stock internals with proper tuning.
Thing is, the rotex cars I have seen have been celicas, they have abit more space between the engine and the radiator than the corollas, so it'll be a tight fit.
Edit: rotrex (J_factor from Ozcelica)

just have a big friday night and sleep through saturday

whers teh cruise at?
melb bro
-
pretty much
but if you have your rear speakers still powered by the headunit, you can just adjust how loud that is to fade from the back to the front, dodgy but you get to stay in your seat
wah reading that hurt my head >.<
your sub should really run it's own amp, if you run speakers off it, you can't use a cross over/the cross over on the amp to cut off the higher frequencies, so you'll have voice out of your sub
edit: dam i should read what i post

read my reply, i told you its to control a valve on the airbox, you don't need it
-
i was considering these when i first spotted them on ebay last year... kinda suprised i havent seen anyone on the forum got these already.
cause they look pretty stupid when they're on the car...
but then it just comes down to personal taste
-
....
something to say mate????
i realised i am missing the vaccuum switching valve for evap? i think....it plugs into brown 2 pin plug between battery and air box. i have a spare vac switch for charcoal canister but unsure of vaccuum lines flow? corolla manual does not show??
anyone with sportivo want to look for me? there is a tiny vaccuum tube coming of air intake (after throttle body) where does it go?
block that off and just tape up that plug, it's to control the flap on the stock airbox
we do it when we replace the stock system with a new intake

ben is lurking around here and has a purple one, will see if we can get him to come and keep ya company :P

the hole in the centre of the rim
the centre cap covers it
it's used to align the wheel and support some weight
see the middle of the rim, behind it it's abit larger and sits on the hub (the thing that is attached to the car and spins)
usually it's ok, but you just have to be careful
if the rims are off a new civic or a 5 stud honda it'll fit
-
ebay my friend :)
-
stud pattern is 5x114.3 for the new corollas
by the looks, they will fit, i don't know the size of the centre hole, but you can always get a ring for that if it's too big, gg if the rims are too small

main meet is in port melb at 7
-
wt car is that?
the front looks like a celica.. but VVTI?
american celicas had both engines
you could do what wilson did, get a two piece cai, take off the down section and it's a sri
-
doesn't turning the key to "on" prime the system?
my old cars use to do it, can't hear the pump in the corolla so i'm not sure if it does it
-
yea,
btw they both have petrol stations :P

you should already know which one is best for track :P
*hint* it drinks more petrol than a superliner and you need a granite hip to use it in day to day traffic
