  1. Hey MAte,

    It all depends i guess, quite a few people have powder coated their rims and it roughly cost's about $200-250. Some members have also sprayed their stockies but have had mixed results. They have suggested going for a neutral colour (i.e. black or white).

    Im planning on spraying mine a gunmetal grey. I'll see how it turns out and if i fk it up i'll just get them powder coated.

    If your planning on getting 18's be prepared for the regular scrubbing of the front guards. most people here just stick to 17's for more of a comfy ride.

    Cheers

    Mark

    Thanks for that!

    hmmm gunmetal grey... should be interesting! Make sure to post some pics up.

    So will the scrubbing still happen often even if the cars on 'lows' not 'super lows?' mmmm maybe 17's might be better...

    oops... didnt realise my cousin was logged in on my computer... :whistling:

  2. Hey guys,

    I cant decide whether to spray powder coat my stockies in black or white... or if I should just get a whole new set of 18's :unsure: . If anyone has done it before it would be a great help if you could post some pictures (to give me an indication of what they will look like). Also, is it difficult to do?

    If I do go ahead with the spraying do you think i should do them black or white? my car is black and I have red calipers...

    Thanks!

I was trying to avoid getting a sub (to save on boot space), but I found out they now have slimbox subwoofers!!! The dude there tried to totally jip me though... I like your little setup there in your display pic! How much did that set you back if u dont mind me asking?

    anyone here go to macquarie uni ?

    spotted a blue sportivo leaving macquarie uni ..... had black rims with a polished lip

    Yess... also my cousin... as well as ic3 man.... haha I just told him now that he was spotted and he's joining up right away...

  4. helloo...

    I'm just wondering how much people get out of a full tank on the sportivo... I've heard from a few ppl now that they get over 700kms!!!!!! Since I got my car i've filled up twice and the first time i managed to just get over 400km's (I must say I pushed it quite a bit) and the second time about 450km's (I thought I was driving conservatively and hit lift maybe only 8 times or so?)

    I'm sure this topic has been brought up before... but pleease can you help me... Is there something wrong with my car? or are 700kms + just rumours...

    Thanks...

  5. Hey guys!

    I've been on the forums for a little while now, but only started visiting frequently from about 2 weeks ago when I finally got my 2005 stivo :yahoo:

    I had a 2005 Civic before this one, and I must say the tvo is a whole lot better!

    I have a few plans for the car but just wondering if you guys have any suggestions in helping me achieve the look im after. I'm trying to give the car a clean JDM look if that makes sense?

    Just last week I painted my calipers and put a Toms panel filter in...

    I plan to do the following in the near future:

    * Eye lids

    * Lowering (How many inches would be ideal? I don’t wany to much scraping business happening :unsure: )

    * Possibly changing the mags... I've actually got a new set of Lenso Light S-2's (Black). They are practically new but I just don’t think they suit the car... so I've decided to keep the stockies on it for now. Any suggestions on what mags may suit?

    * CAI

    Here are a few pics…
