hey mate,
i was interested in getting this but i felt the 'Bolle sunnies were just a gimmick.. settled for the midnite express instead.. any chance of uploading photos, both the sunnies and window tint?
cheers
Hope these photo's help but i am using a camera phone, sunnies are at home and arem't fashionable but functional and polarised.. I also looked at midnight express but IMO the bolle was almost as dark and had the better warranty
cheers

hi all,
just had the Bolle window tint (seires 2) installed on my red zr6. For $500.00 and a lifetime warranty totally recommend it. Also got two free pairs of sunnies but their crap to look at, (good for the beach and stuff)

AGE 30
SEX: Male
STATUS: my GF thinks i'm a geek for being on a forum.
Worked for Toyota (yesy tried being a salesman) back in 05 and saw all the pre release info. Knew it would come out at the right time and couln't justify a V8. The ZR6 ticked all the boxes and IMO stands out and above holdens and fords (do like the new XR6 though)

this is seems to be the go for after market options?

dammit, if we only had people in Perth who wanted to work on Aurions!!!

if dave262 and djkor could make it any clearer, i'd have a crack at it myself!

Ive spoken to the experts regarding both Kings and Pedders springs who have installed many on the Aurion on the past
They have never had to install the camber bolts, so im going without at this stage.. From what ive been told/ Read Kings will give u a 30mm drop while pedders would be closer to 40mm.. I went with Pedders, springs arrived today, getting them installed shortly. $600 all up including wheel alignment.
thanks Spags,
where are you that Pedders quote $400.00 cheaper? Thats only if you don't mind answering!!

Hi there,
the guys at APC (see below) can customise a cold air intake for the ZR6 for around $500.00. Not being at all mechanical, I sure don't want to do it myself. Anyone able to recommend a place in Perth WA?

Just ordered two, thanks for the heads up on these, will save a lot of $$$ down the track!

Hi All,
have been told that the Kings Springs will cost about $550.00 through Wilkinsons in Perth and they use King Springs however price does not include camber bolts.
Pedders have advised $1030.00 with camber bolts and Sport Ryder springs.
A mate has sent me to APC who have said Eibach springs for around $1100.00. Has anyone heard of Eibach? He told me that the King Springs will sag over time lowering the car further, is this correct or a sales pitch?

Hiya Bondie,
Over in West Australia the service department was able to print off a step by step guide on what to do to replace the faulty clips. They handed it over to the guys out back and i got told that it would take 3-4 hours..
hope this helps a little

just got two quotes in West Aus for 30 000 km service and both were just over $400.00. As i bought the car from adelaide and had it shipped over i don't get to use the service plan, bugger!
That said, I always new that Toyota genuine meant more money and generally at one service a year whats the big deal?

Wilkinson Suspension would be your 1 stop shop id say mate. Assuming your in Perth?
Cheers spags, the name Wilkinsons was floated by a mate, just wanted confirmation, other option maybe WA suspension in Ossy Park.
yes i'm in Perth and finding it difficult to get things done...

I'm sure this question has been asked before but as i am about to do it i will ask again:
Who is your preferred lowering specialist? I can get it done through the TYre Factory where i got my wheel and tyre package or should i use PEdders?
anyone in WEst Aus got someone to recommend?
cheers ALL

HI all,
Started the long search for my zr6 about 2 months ago. After falling in love with the wildfire colour on an sx6 i was informed that toyota no longer produced th wildfire zr6. I gave up my dream of buying a brand new car I(and the sunroof)and began to search for a second hand one. Finally found one in south Australia and am having sent over. What a labour of love! The selection in Perth is still extremely limited and hard pressed to get even an 06 under 40k!!
Anyway I am hoping that some of the experts on this forum are west aus based and can point me in the right direction for after market additions such as wheels, tint, lowering and slight performance improval? I don't have a massive budget but never spending this much before really wish it to be special!!
One other thing, the ZR comes factory fittef with alarm and immobiliser but i cannot find any info about the alarm, can anyone tell me if i should upgrade?
Sorry to write so much, very nervous and very proud owner of a very nice car.
