  1. keep in mind that the stiffer u have ur dampers on the shorter it will last.

also d2 has funky spring rates, normally on a front wheel drive car the rear should be stiffer then the front, but d2 have 7kg F and 5KG right, if u look at any other brand normally its would be 5kg F and 7gk Rear lol that shows lack of R&D. stock celica spring rates are 6kg front and 8kg rear.

fwd cars naturally understeer so you have to expect some no matter what, and you will never get "go kart" like handleing even with the best set of coil-overs. also if you get a rear swaybar it will increase your oversteer abit so it might balance it out abit, but it really depends on the way you drive, thats what sussy's are about, balance.

Im no advocate of D2 suspension, however i wouldnt say the company lacks R&D because the front dampener has a stiffer spring rate than the rear. I can name many companies that design coilover for front wheel drive cars with similar setups. (Buddyclub, Cusco, Tein, HKS)

Anyway through my experience of driving my mates car with a very similar setup, i found reducing the dampening on the rear helped in preventing oversteer. The front dampening was pretty much on full stiffness.

  2. I dont know if the TRD shocks will be matched to your Pedders Springs, may just wear em out quickly.

If you wanna spend a bit extra get some Tein Super Wagon Coilovers (3kg front and rear), Can go low without the side effects, but I dont think handling will as good as your current package. The Tein GT Wagons are better (4kg f and r) but cost alot more.

Have you ever driven a car with tein superwagons? there by no means a bad coilover! It is also possible to change the spring rates from 3:3, i had 3:3 on my superwagons and i admit it just didnt feel right, it was spongy and bouncy. However ive since put in 6:4 and they are great, im very happy with them.

  3. the BC P1 SF are actually made in Taiwan yO (Nothing wrong with Taiwanese quality too by the way :D)

Friend has it on his Blue Corolla Sportivo and suits it quite well ;)

The optimum size and offset for this rim to suit our corolla's is

    - 16x7 offset +42 (Don't think it comes in a +43 offset  )

    - 205/50/R16 87V rubber

You will find that with this setup there will be no scrubbage at all, even at full lock :D Unless u are as low as the members of the low ridaz, than at high speeds and only at high speeds will u notice a very little scrubbage on the inner front guards

I dont have buddyclubs, but my wheels have a +43 offset. Just saying get the lowest offset you can.

  4. depends how hardcore u wanna go

front sway, trd member brace, semi-slick tyres, lsd, gut your interior to shave some weight, upgrade your coilies to cusco, tein ones and sell the one u have to me real cheap :spiteful: , bucket seat so u can stay in your seat to do what u have to do in an apex........

Cuscos zero 2 coilovers would be a good upgrade, the teins would be a downgrade as they only make super wagon spec coils for the rolla (3 + 3 spring rate and bugger all adjustments).

I would hardly call tein super wagons a downgrade, they can be order with stiffer springs, you dont have to keep the 3:3. Im running 6:4 and they are pefect!

  5. I just had a 30000km service completed with them paying special attention to my front brakes on my 2005 sportivo. i arrived and they said the noise and braking feel was a common problem and in some circumstances the discs cannot be machined and require replacing. Anyway in my situation they deglazed disc rotors , unfortunately the noise resurfaced after 15-20 mintues of solid driving. Seems the solution is a replacement.
