  1. Thanks for all your replies. All I can say is Audi Q7 760Nm, Volkswagen R50 850Nm. Diesel motors are capable of more torque, and the drivetrain can handle the extra work.
  2. KDSS does take away the sub tank, leaving the 93L main tank. Around town you get around 600km. More for highway. This is for drag racing at traffic lights, smoking nearly every car next to you!! I must say the 200 suspension, drive train, NVH are vastly superior to the LC100. Not as hard, harsh nor noisy. Pulling a trailer full of furniture was a breeze. No extra noises from the components. You can upgrade the suspension shock absorbers and coils, while leaving the KDSS intact.
  3. Pull off the 2 plastic covers (don't twist or bend, just pull off), then unbolt the 4 bolts. Took mine off for space, just got to cover the mounting brackets with a bit of carpet. LOADS more space for camping gear.
  4. There are piggyback chips (DPChip, Steinbauer, Dtronic) which basically allow more fuel at all stages, Unichip which is individually programmed to your vehicle, and replacement of genuine ECU. I gather the improvement should be 650 Nm to around 780 Nm. While I like the extra torque, I don't want to void the warranty, lose the increase as the ECU relearns and compensate over time or damage the engine and transmission. Does anyone have any thoughts about how to proceed?
  5. The mirrors dip when the switch is left or right. Nothing happens when it's in the middle. Dipping is very useful for reverse parking into tight spots. The reverse camera sorts out what's behind anyway.
