Thanks for you help guys. My car is just mainly for on road use. I'm just worried as i've installed a CAI on my car before and i've experienced a dramatic lag of power. Perhaps i've installed it the wrong way. The mechanic told me it's because the air flow sensor was limiting the air flow (how to fix?). What do you think? And is resetting ECU a must if we install CAI? Martin.

Hi all, I'm new, driving a Corolla Levin 03 - Pre-facelift (AUTOMATIC). I've been looking over topics on the forum but i havent discovered a topic mentioned about CAI for AUTOMATIC cars. I'd like to purchase a CAI. Question is: Which brand do you think suit best? Would the Air Flow Sensor be a trouble for the CAI? How is the effect gonna be different from Manual cars? Do i need to reset the ECU for it? Your help/opinion is most appreciated. Martin.

thanks for the tips, i've pm-ed SILVABULLIT. Anyone else have done a DIY silver paint before? Also, if i get a rear skirt painted DIY, would it be risky that the colour turn out patchy / imbalance?

I found the plate with all the codes on the frame of the passenger door on my 05 Sportivo. Be careful, as I had trouble finding the right one too, there are 2 different silvers. 'Silver Glaze' is Pre-Facelift and 'Sterling Silver' is the facelift colour. It is definitely on Autobarn's computer, I had some mixed up last weekend. Yup, thanks for the reply. I've tried looking inside the engine bay. it's definately a 199. According to Autobarn, it's a 'metalic Silver' ( CODE = PJ9042) which he believe that the paint will not come out the same colour as the car. that's why i'd like to reconfirm with the forum which paint code to buy (ie ; PJ XXXX) to get the same effect.

Hi Guys, i'm just bought a new set of eyelid (prime colour). I've been to Autobarn and Repco for a DIY paint but it seems like the paint manual from their shop does not match with the car. Can anyone with tell me what's the best CODE to use for a METALIC SILVER corolla 2003? THANKS. Martin

I have called up a few toyota dealers and the prices have indeed gone up Now they are ranging from $360 - $380 which is a bit of a bummer Mate go to LeMans Footscray and talk to the young bloke at Spare Parts. Tell him your mate Luke (me) ordered one about a month ago and said that you (guy behind counter) could get them in for a good price. OR When I can I'll order it for you and you can hook me up when I pay for it? Let me know Sounds good Luke, I'm near Footscray myself and i'm interested in getting the rear skirt. How much did u get your for a month ago? I'll get one if it's a good price. Did u paint it yourself? Did it cost much? Cheers.
