quick question, do you have plastic spacers on your rims? I had 18's on my last car, which had plastic spacers on the hub so that they fit. I had my tyres fitted at Bridgestone and one of the spacers got stuck on the rim, instead of being stuck on the hub like they normally are. They rotated my rims, which caused my front rim to have 2 spacers on them, and as they are plastic, when tightening they used their torque gun, but plastic flexes. So while i was drivin home down the M2, i felt something was majorly wrong. When i stopped, my whole left rim fell off the car, with the nuts falling straight into the gutter on delhi rd. Thank *** they didnt fall off doin 100km/h on the M2. Anyways, they paid for my towing and all repairs to the car & rims. If you have spacers on your rims, maybe point this out as it may be the cause. Goodluck, hopefully it will work out for u.

The legal limit in NSW is 35%, unless ur car is built before April 1994. That is the law 100%. If your in Sydney, i can recommend a tinter who's family has been in the tinting industry since tinting was available in Aus. I have sent more than 10 cars to him and can vouch for the quality of his workmanship. He is a top bloke and very helpful. To let u kno, I had him tint my car all round at 25%, and after having the car for a few days, I was concerned with the legality of having such a dark tint in regards to insurance (in which it CAN void ur policy should they wish to). Im not willing to take the risk on my brand new rolla. He changed the tint to 35% for me, free of charge. No problems at all. His prices are the best in Syd, for the same quality. Got it done today, much better light output from it. I got the guys to install it for me as they have done it a million times before, but in saying that, it is a easy D.I.Y. Hardest part is probably just assembling the HID kit itself, to be honest i didnt really look that hard at the actual kit, just opened it for quick sniff. The guys who installed it for me mounted the ballasts on the bracket above the headlamp connection. I will take pictures when i can get hold of a camera. Just a question to others, does ur stock beam shine towards the left of the car? like when u shine it on a wall, u see two triangles offset to the left a bit? Never really realised before i installed the HID so cant compare the throw to the stock one. If someone could check for me, would be great!

For sure... unfortunately im not in the situation to wait for a sportivo, if they even bring one out. Sold my car 2 days after i advertised it, and i needed a car ASAP. But yeh, the 100kw is the most disappointing part, as with the 4 speed auto... I specifically picked the rolla as i plan to have this car for a long time, it will be my restaurant delivery car in the future. Thanks Jeremy :D

I got the 6000k ones. Spose to be super white like the Mercs... Have to say that the package it comes in is quite impressive, as in it doesnt look like some farkin dodgy ***** crap made from the back of a truck... The parts in the store are like absolute heaven... very impressive shop.

I would rather commit suicide than look at a new civic sittin in my drive way every day... :D Heh, seriously, was after a small daily driver & reliable. Tested various cars and came out with a corolla. Got it for a pretty good price too, well i think so anyways!

Sure am mate :D bought two sets of HID's today from Mu Secret! Bit more expensive than the rest, but he has lifetime warranty on wiring and ballast, with 1 yr warranty on bulbs. AFAIK the rest dont provide warranty. Im getting them installed 2morrow morn, so dont know how it'll turn out. Ill try get some pics up if i can find my camera!

Hey guys, Just got myelf a new silver 2008 conquest... had it for 2 weeks and love it to bits :D previously had a 94 Accord Vti-S with a few neat mods etc done. So far can say that its a beautiful car and lovin it 100% Being my first toyota, hopin to learn heaps more here. Peace Out!
