  1. They don't really say. They would if they are up themselves in marketing etc, but otherwise you will be fine. If you read my post again (as I have edited it just then), you will see that most, if not all, are AC anyways. you are TOTALLY WRONG most of the HID kit on the ebay market is DC not AC unless they have stated as DC are at least half cheaper than AC and they still do the job until something happen a bit later. Your call. I have people come back with a DC ballast which is flickering all the time when you point your headlight to a wall or at the back of another car. However, you can actually tell if the ballast is DC sometimes by looking at the starter box. Some really cheap DC ballast do not have the back cover at the back of the starter box. I just threw a pair of DC ballast which I have taken off from a car. I will see if I can find one.
  2. Sending the HID kit or faulty part back is not fun at all especially with the expensive shipping rate in Aus.
  3. Nah it's not this person. The person i'm talking about is http://myworld.ebay.com.au/z-labs He won't have some temp and bulb shape in stock so he may have to order them in but most common ones are there. His HID is DC HID kit

  13. Yo man, I got a 2010 Camry, will be very keen to but a set of HID on, waiting for your step by step photo tutorial man :o) Sorry man.... it was clients' car so I am not able to take some pictures anymore but if you have tried to pull your stock bulb out, you will get some better idea what I am refering to...
  14. sorry man but the customer is beside me waiting for me to finish the job and go. I may try to find some pictures of the plug so I can show what is the metal piece look like. But i assume the people who has actually taken the bulb out will know what I mean. However, I can confirm CAMRY 2007+ can fit HID without any special plug or modification.
  15. Hi there. I have a customer enquiry about putting HID into his 2008 TOYOTA CAMRY ALTISE and i WAS thinking it will be easy. However, I still did some normal research before the guy drop by but I found out that people do not able to get HID into their car. The car is using H7 unlike most current Toyota like Rukus, Aurion which using H11. When I first saw the plug, I was thinking how the HID will fit. However it is quite easy. Here is some basic tips on how to get aftermarket HID kit into your belove Camry. First of all, you will need to take the plastic rubber out. Unplug the plug and you will see the halogen bulb is attached on it. Use a screwdriver to pull the halogen plug out. If you pay close attention to the plug, you will notice the silver metal thingy can actually seperate from the black plastic plug. You can now put your HID globe on the silver metal piece by running the HID plug and cable through the metal thingy. Put yout plug back into the headlight and use your fingers to lock the metal thingy onto the hole at the back of the headlight. The left hand side is actually a lot easier as there are a lot more rooomy compare to the right. Cut a small hole on the rubber cover and plug the +ve and -ve wires of the HID bulb into the plug. Please use voltage tester to check which one is +ve as both of the stock wires are in black color. Run all the wires through the small hole on the rubber cover and put the cover back in. Plug all the plugs and cable tie the ballast. You will now enjoy the HID on your Camry. Since the new camry has the projector, it looks really nice without blinding upcoming traffic at all. Here are a few of pictures to share. I hope admin will not delete my post. Another Camry I came across with H7 6000k and 5 SMD LEDs. Look MAD More images can be found in here http://******australia.com/
