thanks for that dude! ill defenetly do that...yeh when i went there and we were talkig about how high it sits and wheels and what have you, he was like yeh we just did a job on a silver aurion with 20's and it sat nice and had no rubbing problems...now i know who it is, and i also know that there full of sht cos you had heaps of problems. just like u said on another spring thread, there not real knowledgeable and helpfull, more like a bam bam thank you mam mob <_<

mate Bondie had the same problem, he had 35 profiles on which scrubed so he traded them in on 30 profile for not much more and problem solved...then u can get some pedders/kings.

but if you find any coil overs please let me know becasue ive been looking for a wile now too and noone has come through with anythin. the camry club of thailand (which are aurions) all use tein super street coil overs. i dont know what the part number for it tho is but im sure if you went to falcrum u could order them. let me know how you go mate!

So far you have guys from brisbane, sydney, darwin, townsville, who got it done around the same price, which is a alot less than you got quoted.

Stand-up for yourself, go in there and ask him why is prices are so inflated, and how does he account for it. If nothing happens and he tells you to bugger off, atleast your said your piece. And if enough people tell him he's a rip-off merchant, maybe he will re-think his busines stradegy and bring his prices down to acceptable level.

Has anyone had any experience with Lovells springs. I've got a mate at a tyre shop that can do them for me for half the price of the King springs. I hear they're popular with the Fords.

I guess the point of the story is, if you're looking to lower your Aurion, there's a third option.

Yeh im having the same dilemma atm too...pedders are allright but they seem to sit alot higher at the back then the front which i dont really fancy...i think ill go kings but do you no what the drop is? ive heard alot off differant numbers...Im goin to do some serious searching soon to see if i can get some coil overs or somthin from overseas, cos i no that the thai camrys (which are aurions) most of them put tien super streets on them but they dont supply them to australia yet. so i think a bit of looking around is needed because i dont think that 30 mills is gonna satisfy.

you reckon if it would be possible to put say an aurions v6 into the new rolla???? cuz toyota japan says the corolla/auris engine bay was designed to fit a v6

Does anyone know what the G.O is with the Aurion sport? is it goin to get released here or not? and does it only have the visual changes on the outside or have they spiced up the engine etc too? (manual box please!!) Ive been trying to look for information on it but everyhtin is so vague.

There is only 2 options at the moment for springs in the Aurions and that is king lows or pedders. the trend with the other owners is to go with the pedders.

Does anyone know what the drop of just the lows would be? and what do they handle/ride like compared to pedders springs.

Went to a test and tune last night at willowbank just to see how she would go. Motor magazine says they run a 14.9 but on the other hand wheels magazine says a time of 15.3 so i was really unsure what my outcome would be. i was hoping to get a 15 flat or a very high 14.

stalled up to about 1800rpm at the staging light and did a really good launch not 1 bit of wheel spin and ended up pullin a 14.4 B) :D

was absolutly stoked!!

reaction time was 0.742 (not good)

60ft was 2.271 seconds

and time was 14.430 @ 97.47 MPH (156.86 KM/H)
