  1. when i first got y sx6 i took it down the great ocean rd all the way to appolo bay and beleive me i was giving it to it all the way in the wet traction control come in on every turn even the hairpins with 35 advised speed limit the yellow signs i was doing over 65 and not once did the feel like i was going to die the only thing i dont like is when you hit a corner fast it feels like you lose all throttle way before you are gonna lose grip also ive noticed while at a freinds place he has a 3 klm driveway alll dirt and heaps of sharp corners so i had some fun and i noticed when you get the car right in the crap ie the back end sliding it starts beeping i think that means you have really got the traction and stability control working or kiss your ***** and say goodbye
  2. ive had mine upto 17 litres per 100 ks as i was towing a boat waying 980 kilos traveling the length of springvale rd but on highway i can get it down to 13.2 litres per 100 ks also i think the sx6 loves towing the gear changes seem to be a heap smoother but taking through 1st 2nd and third with the foot down tractin con light stays on and it will still drag an xr 6 with the boat on
  3. 1 thing that spins me out is that when in sports mode with the foot down it doesnt change until rede line and also in the manual it says that 4th gear goes to 198 this is not true mine goes to 208 in sports mode at redline also the gears will change at different times in the rev range depending on how much you put the peddle down
  4. if you got third party fire and theft i t might cover you for this type of damage
  5. ive got michelin and give t hem a hard time and i think they are great but they are a bit steep in price but worth it

  7. hey guys i was a tyre fitter 4 10 years on cars bikes and trucks 225 is the min on a 7.5 inch rim 215 will nit handle right as the bead will be wider than than the rim edge therefor deforming the tyre and possibly wearing out the edges b4 the centre
