    Exactly 4 months now with my baby TCH at 9,500km and counting ^.^ About last month the FC improved to 5.0L/100km on pure highway (measured 35*2km on M4) and 5.8L/100km city-driving. Perhaps I've learnt to maximize the batt. Google for the "step and glide".

    Lowest I got it was 6.0L/100km! As advertised! Hopeful to breach sub-6 in the weeks ahead...

    OP has a good point. Could very well be vacuum causing air to rush in. But the next time you open that cap feel for the air rushing out. Hence it's as above posters said - evaporated petrol... Yet to go on full tank since taking delivery about 18 days ago :-S Fuel card still on its way...

    Me! Just took possession of a new Camry Hybrid last year on Dec 31! Been enjoying freedom for two weeks! ^.^ At its lowest FC went down to 6.0L/100km!
