well i sussed it it was the coil this modell has issues with it's intergrated coil the coil is intergrated into the distributor bloody anoying idea if you ask me

i found the cap it was under the carpet around the aera that the glovebox handle sits eg look at the handle of the glovebox drop a plumbbob over the floor where it sits comfortablly then that is roughly where the lid for the resviviour is

yeah you ever find it i got a 83 modell an have not found it either

ok i have purchased this tarago 4 weeks ago and this morning it decided to not start it was starting to get harder to start in the morning's but i figured it just needed a service so i was waiting for my pay to come in in the meantime it decided not to start i have owned a toyota all my life and this is the first time i have come across this the motor will turn over but it gives no hint of a fire in the bore you know how sometimes they can try and fail but you can clearly see (hear) it is getting some spark this just wont go at all it was allways a low idle timeing but i cant find the idle adjustment on the 2y motor and am unsure if there may be some other reason my father suggested i look for a fuse that may have blowen in the vehicle but i cant see where it could be he suggested it would be in a black tube in the bay somewhere is it posible that the fuse is related / or even posible it seems to be getting fuell ok any help that could be offered is appricated i have some skills a few years ago i had to re do the head on my 86 corolla with the 4ac enjine and it is going like a rocket nowdays so i can do a few things any suggestions would be appreciated i will try anything
