I've reset my rear springs so now the car sits dead flat and looks perfect,BUT my headlights shine too high and looks like iam driving with high beams on.. They are auto self leveling but not enough..Can the whole unit be adjusted like older cars where you just turned a couple of screws and it was done? or do i have to change rear springs again so it sits like a hot rod.... Because the rear is lower now wouldnt it be like having people in the back,so they should level out shouldnt they? Ive had a look at the headlight housing and can see some white plastic cog looking things where a philips screwdriver fits, turned one a bit but nothing happened.

Never buffed them,just wash the car as normal..Go see Toyota soon about it,also wouldnt autosol be a bit too abrasive for that kind of plastic? Ive only used it on metal.

What a shame that is, noticed you had the sills as well, those nice goodies gone.. At least you OK. You alone? was that Blinky in the front footwell.. Good luck with it all then and another Sportivo coming maybe?

Yeah not too sure what NETZ actually is but its on a few JDM Toyotas now where as the ZZE which seems to be pre NETZ was "NEW CENTURY VALUE" according to brochures i have.They even have a whole brochure on HID's for ZZE.. Gotta love those Japanese

I havent checked my interior light yet, I leave my map lights as they are but do you know if red is available for interior?

That name again is Mr Plow I think iam going TTE cos your right too about TRD it sticks out too far..As for Modellista i looked into that one(very nice) but you can only order from new in Japan. Modellista is fitted on the production line.. Everything else ive seen is a bit too jetspeed

I'll have to dig out my notes for the full pricing. My reason for saying no was that at the time the price difference with TRD or TTE was not huge (I think K-Mac Springs were $560 installed and TRD and TTE were at the time, April 08, around $550 supply only and I already have a set of spring compressors) and as I may be selling the car in 2 years (at the end of it's lease due to high mileage - 40k in 6months so far) I thought I would get a better return on the TRD / TTE either sold with the car or separately. How did you go with the guys at K-Mac when you spoke to them? Spring set from them is $350 supply only,40mm or any height you want really. Iwas looking at TRD and TTE as well but they are both 25mm and i wanted lower so went King lows 35mm but rear is too high as as most corollas sit. Iam going Sat to reset the rear another 10 - 15mm.Measure it first and decide cos i just want it to sit level.Also Lovells do 40mm front and 48mm rear but were too expensive from where i got the quote so i'll stick with what i know and have been good to me before. Id like lower but not practical and front bar has heaps of overhang and scrapes sometimes as it is.Plus i want a TTE lip :D

My headlight lenses which are plastic like most new cars have turned blue and look misty. Hard to descibe but like brass that is tarnished..Both of them and it looks like its through the plastic.Showed Toyota at my first service and he told me we have never seen this before.They used windex and a bit came off but is back again.. I would expect this from Taiwanese replacement lenses but not Toyota.I havent seen another one like it yet so anyone else have this? Windex isnt the answer so should Toyota replace them? Try and get a photo up to show you soon.. Not happy Toyota

Finally got some Auris bits and pieces but two more things to come,cant wait.. So far Auris rear badge Front JDM Netz badge but doesnt fit so sprayed mine black. JDM short antenna Genuine slim weather shields but not on yet cos i cant work out the clips and what they do

Majority of roadworks should be done by then so hopefully just a couple of 80 zones.

What made you say no? I had their springs in my GTi and then had them reset lower and they never sagged and also reset my Kings once, still comfy ride.. Might go see him tomorrow about resetting these. What was the price for the kit installed?

Hi and welcome, performance wise pretty similar but despite alot less power than your VT you will be getting something reliable that can look hot with little effort. Performance mods could be found but nothing like what you had unless you have moolah to play with Camry is a great looking sedan especially lowered but iam a hatch man so i went corolla with all its gadgets.. It wont be raced so its good enough for my needs.. At the end of the day it may just come down to size and your lifestyle..So its hot hatch or super tourer then.. Love a good hatch ;) Cheers,John

Does anybody know what option this is? its in my RUNX & accessories brochure.. Its not TRD, its Modellista(toyota tuners) but mainly cosmetic stuff but unavailable to us cos its ordered at production line when purchasing new. Yes they have ZRE stuff as well but AUS misses out "AGAIN"

i didnt get levin cause car was mums. until she swapped for my yaris :( and i dont think the levin spoiler will fit on the ascent since the brake light is intergrated to the spoiler where as on the ascent the brake light is inside the car. I know that you can get a badass spoiler from TTE becasue AUR15 has it :D The TTE rear spoiler is for the Ascent and Conquest because your centre brake light is behind the glass, SX and ZR will fit but you will have two brake lights TTE has NO brake light for anyone interested but i reckon a Levin one wouldnt be cheaper.
