guys, the spring for my centre fascia is screwed, so the lid to the storage comparment wont shut. Its a long shot, but does anyone have one laying around. Understand to resolve the issue i need a new fascia. Anyone have a good condition one laying around ? im im in w.a but will pau postage.

I didn't remove my spare as I am aware that they can get abit taily. It also achieved a little bit more front rake so alls good.

I was getting way too much understeer yesterday. But I played with damper settings and it helped heaps.

My best time of the circuit: 1min 5sec

A R33 GTR doing the skidpan with me was doing 1min flat!!

DC2R was doing 1min 5sec too..

i was actually thinking of using autoclutch, they have done plenty of my friends car in the past without complaint.

i phoned them and explained that i wanted a clutch supplied aswell as install of clutch + lsd. They told me they would do the clutch and send the gearbox off to have the lsd done.

They quoted $700 in labour to do the clutch, i guess thats not too bad ?

who you getting to do the work for you ?

i heard autoclutch in osbourne park is ok . .

i rekon you ought to save up a bit longer and do your lsd aswell, no sense ripping that gearbox off twice !

looks pretty good, though io do have a question for the experts . . .

helical type diffs, are they the same as a traditional lsd in when a car is jacked up and the wheels are rotated they will spin the tyres in the same direction?

i have attempted to emulate this with the diff i received by inserting my thumbs in the location where the drive shafts go and rotating which results in the unladen shaft input spinning in the oppisite direction.

attempting to hold one and spin the other creates a locking effect, however thats pretty unremarkable in the sense that my thumds dont have as much torque as my 2zz :)

heres some pics of the diff, any1 able to assist in confirming that it is indeed an lsd ? cbf paying ot install another open centre :)!

yeah, also interested in the weight of the stock fly. Basically, i think i would like the heaviest lightened flywheel around - basically as a good compramise.

hurry up with the lsd install :)

clutch may cause the knocking sound, hard ot know without hearing it.

rearding your installation estimate, i was recently quoted $700 in labour just to fit a clutch. hope this helps!

its the vsv air speed control valve, it started ticking its head off after i installed the cai.

'soft' mounted it today with a cable tie, no more ticking!
