    Planning to go toyota tomorrow, to purchuse the genuine oil 10 - 30 so it shud be good. i dont really thrash the car everyday or LIFT!. i lift like once a week. HAHA

    The engine oil normally comes in 5 litres, i mite as well use all the oil, are you sure i shud use 4.99 litres? I prefered factory recommended litres.

    Hi guys, im planning to change engine oil and filter tomorow, i was just wondering how much litres oil shud use for our stivo vvtl-i. Sorry for posting this up, i been research about the oil but i cant seem to find about how many litres to use. Thanks peeps. Tam ;)

    yep. you'll notice the clutch will start to catch higher and higher up on the pedal until eventually, the car will just free-rev and keep slipping, then usually followed by the worse smell that your car has ever produced. hehe Sound like my clutch is not warn out overall, could be anything or air leak like u said. ill get that check out by the machanics. Thanks mate!.

    My car is fine atm only if its warm. Car has done 65k atm. Last service was 61k shown on the service manual. If the clutch was to wear out, im sure the car will run on free REV is that right?

    Considering he said he fixed the problem by fixing the connection to the VACUUM SENSOR, aka MAP sensor, this means that a ) the problem is fixed b ) he doesn't have an air flow meter, or AFM (AE92s had MAP sensors) Yeah i thought so he didnt have the AFM. If he did have the afm then that will be 100% problem. I use to have 32 GTR it happan to me. AFM was cause the problem.

    When i give enough gas it doesnt shudder exactly right, but for what i can see its not normal. When i first bought the car it didnt happan like that. ;(. Shoundnt happan to any manual car.

    The up and down rpm thingy in low idleing is called IDLE HUNTING. Clean your air flow metre, also try replacing a new airfilter. Hopefully that whud help.

    i just got home from the machanics, he test drive to 1st gear he told me the clutch is fine. He tryed putting in to 5th gear to take off and it stall straight away. But for me i still feel the shuddering 1st gear take off, this only happans when is cold morning start take off. When its warm its fine.

    hi peeps, I think i got a problem with my clutch, the whole car smell like burn. What i experience taking off gear 1 it start to struggle kind of like a vibrate, it happan around 1200rpm. Could it be the clutch wearing out? if so what kind of brand clutch shud i get, im planning not to do any mods to the car so shud i get a stock standed clutch? and how much it cost? Appreciated guys!!

    i got a problem with my radiator fan is not spinning when i turn on the engine, sometime it spin and stop as well, is it normal?

    haha thanks guys, i will post my silver stivo up tommorow. Its pretty much stock like a rock, i dont think i ever do any mods at all not even a pod filter. I experience so much about gtr already, so i dont really wanna turn back to those modifys. More power= more petrol as u can see im worry about petrol LOL!! 550km per tank IM HAPPY WITH THAT! GTR= 300km per tank $120 for 4days use.

    Yes GTR is one of the powerful car i ever driven but again sportivo are perfect for road driving.. i love the revs. GTR waste of petrol for road use, i dont really go to drag or track so whats the point having the gtr, when the gtr have problems expensive to fix is a money pit, thats why i prefer sportivo. mix of sport and luxury. Thanks for welcoming me, atm i am a very happy man with my new ride (sportivo).

    Hi guys, i use to own r32 GTR! but i just got rid of it last week. I have bought a new silver 2003 sportivo corolla yesterday and im loving it!. Petrol so far is great compare to my GTR. I got a little issues about my new sportivo, everytime i change gears i hit the clutch down it revs a bit before i change to the next gear. Why does it do that, is it normal?. One more issue when the car is idleing i can hear a zzzzz sound. Please help me out on this issues! Much appreciated guys Thanks Tam:)
