I came over to Oz in 2000 and brought my GT4 over a little later, it was a pain, but got it done. They are worth a lot more here than in UK as very few here. I assume you are coming on a tempory work Visa, in theroy you should be able to bring it over and just put the estimated GST on current value in some sort of bond (The may be specific WA rules).
