What is the best 205/45/17 tyre for Corolla?

Hi anyone,

I wanted to purchases a new set of tyres for my ZZE122 conquest. I am currently using 205/45/17 tyre size.

I have tried the following tyres:

Toyo Transpath SW and they were pretty good.

Hankook Ventus Sport K104 and they were very noisy.

Dunlop SP Sport Maxx and they seems to be very noise between 40 and 60Km/h. But very sticky tyre.

I am thinking about the Bridgestone Adrenalin RE001.

Does anyone one have any recommendation?

Hey mate,

I would highly recommend the Federal 595S.

Now i know federal isnt a very well known brand, but in all honesty these are some of the best tyres I have ever driven on. directional, very quiet, last quite a long time, but when u drive hard they get really soft and sticky B) managed to get me round the hillclimb track in 53.53s - same as RX8, JCW Cooper S etc.....

now from $160 a corner, you cant go wrong!!

Get the RE001. I have had them for a while now and I must say they are the best street tyre money can buy. I had all the suspension goodies which I thought was excellent, but after getting these tyres, the car performs on a whole new level.

RE001 is not available in a 205/45/17. I've done some research because I'm due for a new set soon.

I've chosen to go with the Michellins because they grip as well as the others but are quieter.
