Vented Bonnet - hardcore track racer look

Im out of petty and with the car sitting in the garage I just had todo something.. here's my poor attempt at trying to reduce heatsoak from the i/c and engine bay

Yeap it does drops engine bay temps, and as the intercooler is right ontop it vents it out. I've also removed the rubber strip.

Have you looked at retrofitting bonnet louvres from a car that already has them, the best ones i've seen on a standard car are the ones on the e class mercs. They're sunk into the bonnet and have real neat mesh behind them.
