Found more info on it.

The only device which is working in Melbourne now is the Mio Digiwalker. The lifetime fee is $129, which is not bad I suppose, could be cheaper <_<

Would be great if it was TMC ready....

There are a few units already in Australia that do TMC from Tomtom, Garmin, Mio etc.... Some are built in like Garmin, others need an antenna.

The Grande unit is already a radio so it wouldn't be hard to do TMC....

... but we may be a little early 1 to 2 years before it's more common.
