Too much body roll with no sway bar?

My brother and I have just finished the hard part of an engine conversion. We've mounted a 1UZ-FE and Auto (A431E) gearbox from a 1991 Soarer into my 1981 Hilux.

The sway bar won't fit back on because the gearbox sits too close (only just).

My question is: If I don't put it back on will there be too much body roll?

I'm not really interested in the whole race scene (which might sound a bit weird considering what we're building) so my definition of "too much body roll" is meant in normal driving.

If you do find there is too much body roll you could always install higher spring rate springs to control the roll (and handeling). The anti roll bars do help with controlling under or oversteer, so you might find the front or back end might be attracted to trees if you're not careful in the wet.

But if you want to fit a custom anti roll bar I'm sure you could work out a way if you got the engine and gearbox worked out ;)
