Hi - I live in the UK and have recently installed a complete OEM sub tank set up from Aus into a Jap imported Lc80 in the UK. Not that simple as chassis and electrics are not 'plug and play'. After much trial and error there is now power to the roof console guage the needle of which moves very, very slowly. The float switch appears OK but the guage moves so slowly that it is almost impossible to track its movement - any thoughts on how to get it to behave like the main tank's almost instantaneous movement would be very welcome. Thanks.

Ricco,

I owned a 1997 80 series GXL TD. The auxilary tank guage was always slow to react. When filled would take at least 2 to 3 mintes to register. Hows does that compare to your cruiser

That puts my mind at ease a little but because I have seen the guage operating much more quickly on at least 2 Aus Lc 80s I am still searching for an explanation and preferably a remedy also. Thanks - I appreciated your response.
