Welcome t one of the quietest forums ever Mugzy.

Decent looking rig there mate. Good to see it's a styleside and has the tub. So many had the tub removed in favour of a flatbed for pushing hay bales off.

Would love to see a good photo of one of the hubcaps I spy in that first pic. I've never been able to find any of them and really don't know for sure what the genuine ones look like.

All the best with the cleanup mate.

Hi

I wish to join in the forum.

I own a Stout 2000 and I am not sure how old it is.

It was old back in 1980 when I purchased it from a mate.

Maybe someone in your club or forum maybe able to help me.

There is no date on the compliance plate under the bonnet ,

Please help,

Thanks

Noel

hey guys,

I know im bumping an old topic but..

I just bought my self an old Lite stout, Tray back and have no idea of what model or any info on it. Any one help out?

The Engine Plate says its ment to have a R2 engine in it but the engine has been swaped out for a 18L Engine out of an old datsun 180B.. with 5 speed manual.

It's not running yet but It is worth the work im going to put into it. currently running on 16Inch rims but every stout i have seen has about 13's on??

any help would be great guys.

Hi Jamie I've just bought a lite stout a 63 it has 13s as well but they tell me they are to slow so thinking I'll do 15s or 16s

Putting 15" or 16" on will only make it slower, won't have the power to pull higher gearing, trust me I know, my cousin has one.

He ended up putting a 4y/ 5speed in it
