HIace engine conversion

Hey guys Ive got a Manual Toyota Hiace Commuter Van. Its done 800,000 klms.

Basically I want to know how difficult is it to take out this motor which i belive is a 2RZ and the manual transmission and put in a new 2RZ and change the tranny to an auto. oh its 98 model by the way LWB

Also what else bolts in?

1. 2RZ-E

2. 1UZ

3. ....

4. ....

etc

Nothing, apart from engines in that series (and even then they won't necessarily) will just "bolt in". $5000 isn't really enough to see a conversion AND a dedicated LPG install, I'd suggest you try to pick up a written off van the same model as yours but in auto, then do a swap.

I havent got it yet! But i was thinking of getting this one!!
