  1. I have a set of ported headers here. They aren't doing me any good sitting in my shed, so you can have them for $100. Never been fitted to a car, bought them and ported them myself for something to do and have sat around since then. $100, send me a PM if you're interested and I will give you some contact details.
  2. No offence to anybody, but I just don't find Asian women attractive - I do agree they have an absolutely fascinating culture and a lot (especially those born in Asia) have a completely different mindset to 'Aussie' girls.
  3. If it's a Bosch, rebuild it with Falcon/Commodore internals. If you're feeling extra tricky, you could try and fit a late series BMW alternator as these have quite a bit of grunt. Are you still running the factory battery?
  4. Some of my friends were talking about competing, I'm not sure what the requirements are but I'm sure it would be on the website. I'm currently flying down with three or four mates, and know about fifteen people all up that are going down to the event. I've been thinking of doing it, need to do a couple things to my car to make it meet CAMS requirements. But the main thing stopping me from entering so far is work taking there sweet time in telling me if I'm going to Perth or not. Pffffffffffft work, who needs it? Currently in the middle of booking our accomodation and corporate box (overlooking the pits ;))

  6. I don't know if you guys just aren't familiar with the Superlap setup, but there's a little teaser. Consider most of these cars are around 550hp and weigh around the 1000kg mark, they are expected to be faster around Eastern Creek than the V8 Supercars. This is basically the biggest track racing event to EVER come to Australia. Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load! Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!
  7. Quoted directly from somebody else on another forum. Who else is thinking of heading to this epic, EPIC event? I am planning on flying down, will stay at Formule 1 Hotel in Wentworthville (about ten minutes from Eastern Creek). Rooms are for 2 people by default so if somebody wants to share accomodation that'd be great. http://www.superlap.com.au/ CHALLENGER LIST http://www.superlap.com.au/2009/?p=1722 Also there is a small matter of this Japanese driver coming down to steer :o
  8. As above + you have absolutely no chance whatsoever of beating a BA+ XR6t if you actually went for a REAL drag (not light to light rubbish). Added displacement + excellent engine + boost = absolutely killer. They also handle reasonably well for a larger car.
  9. Mandrel bent is a complete waste of time and most importantly money on a Paseo. I am not being an ***** - I am being truthful.
  10. *Lose the cannon *16" wheels are the upper limits to what I'd run, 15" are even better *Extractors do make a fair bit of difference, Hurricane or Tiger headers are pretty cheap and work a lot better than the Pacemakers. *If you're paying more than $400 for a catback system, you're getting ripped off *2" catback is all I would run, any bigger and it's going to sound terrible. *CAI is pretty easy to do, all you need is a 3" 45* and a 3" 90* plus a small vacuum fitting. All you're required to do is cut them to length and weld it up, or even just join them with a silicone joiner. *King springs aren't great if you still want your car to handle decent. Don't forget that most EP92 Starlet stuff will bolt onto your car - I'd found a set of low km TRD adjustables for $500, they would handle MUCH better than just Kings. *Finally, make sure you get a Superpro bush kit and have them installed. It will make a HUGE difference.
  11. Car is now at my brothers place and I have 5 weeks of paid holidays, so there's a good chance I'll have time to do more. I want to sort out the rust now, only that, oil lines and coilovers stopping me from having it on the road.
  12. Check you haven't blown your constant power fuse dude.
