what wheels should i get for my 96 camry

hey everybody as most of u know i bought a set of 18*8 ssw phantoms

but they are to wide in the front i want to lower the cam because right now it looks like a monster truck and also it is illigal to have wheels wider then the gards so i'm gonna sell them and get a new set 18*7.5 which is legal.

don't noe what wheels to buy i have some in mind

Aren't you allowed to flare or roll the guards in NSW? What crap rules!!

As far as I'm aware, if you want 18s and want to lower it, you'll be drawing a fine line on whether you need to roll anyway... I've seen many of our Gen 3s needing to be rolled purely because they won't fit. Will has Superlow springs on 18x7s and he STILL had to roll the guards.

Realistically if you need to roll guards then either the wheels are too big or offset is wrong, most gen 3 camry's should support a positive 38-46mm offset, and up to 18" within the rules anyway.

The Camrys work well with +45 offsets... 7 inch on 18s woulda been fine ( as per Will's Camry with 18s on Superlows)

7.5... maybe rolling :P

i have rolled the gaurds but the front wheel sticks out about 2 finger width from the gaurd

You've got wheels with the wrong offset...

Out of the wheels you're looking at I think the first ones would be the only ones to suit your car...
