  1. Would I be correct in assuming you have a GJ Camry? 1.8 if not mistaken. If memery serves the speedo is tied in through the ABS system.
  2. Hmmm Eonon well good luck I have had the mispleasure of having fitted them for customers all I can say don't come to me!! Biggest piece of sh!t on the ebay market. Cheap thats it but will cost you lots in P&P sending back for repairs LOL
  3. Realistically if you need to roll guards then either the wheels are too big or offset is wrong, most gen 3 camry's should support a positive 38-46mm offset, and up to 18" within the rules anyway.

    Power Antenna

You'll need to get a genuine mast and rope as theres no after market one available for the camry and only takes about 20 mins to change as the rope will need to be removed from the motor assembly.
  5. Eclipse head units are the best when installing in toyotas almost no wiring at all just plug and go LOL
  6. If your running 0 gauge cable from your amp you must install a 0 gauge ground from the battery to chassis and at the amps 4 gauge power use 4 gauge ground. "What goes in must come out"
  7. Yes those amps are infact 1500wrms OA1502 we have them at work, I believe OA even hold the current aussie SPL record. I have the OAX801 in my wagon powering 4 12's. But yes answering your question 0 gauge minimum from battery to distro then 4 gauge to each amp and please make sure your match the grounds at the amps and the battery.
  8. You'll find its just fuel evapouration whilst the engine is at its hottest, it'll still start quicker after a run because the fuel rail is still charged. Next time turn the key to IGN and give it a few more seconds for the fuel pump to charge the rail. Basically the charcoal canister is doing its job.
  9. Ah yes now I know the deck you are talking about, the part number is similar to a pioneer AVIC unit which is double din, ok nice that should go nicely although a bit pricey.
  10. G'day yes believe it or not I own a Toyota too LOL. Just a beat up (thanks to a tree falling on it 5 years ago) looking gen 3 camry wagon. Had the old girl 9 years and don't plan on giving her up any time soon, just put a new engine in a month ago since the mrs stuffed the old one (cooked 4 times, snapped timing belt, run with a dry sump for 24 days then complained it had no power DUH!!) But it didn't skip a beat til the head let go. I look forward to chatting and post to you all!
  11. No stinger have an FM modulated module that even charges your iPod and yes the cable can be left in the glove box.
  12. Yes the rain will do that LOL my workshop is under ground so I tend not to notice.
  13. If you look at your stereo you'll notice it is'nt a double din size like the gen 5 or previous. But I'm just a dumb car audio installer what would I know LOL
  14. Ok so where are you getting the a facia from?? 08 Altise has an integrated consol.
  15. Not what I did but not bad from what I can see, some photos of mine a while ago more done since LOL
  16. No there isn't an aux in with stock decks, if you really have to keep it in there get an FM modulator for your iPod.
  17. Head unit in a camry usually if i'm pi$$ing around maybe 10 mins LOL but unfortunately for you you need a facia for your integrated head unit so perhaps upgrading your speakers and adding a woofer might be the best option but please use a good quality line converter eg: LC6 by Audio Control gives you front, rear and sub outputs.
  18. You thinking dead coil? Or igniter maybe.
  19. One word "lubemobile" reputable company.
  20. Mines a 5S but i'm sure theres not much of a difference between that and a 3S $56 for the belt at trade cost. I didn't pay labour as I did the work LOL so not sure about costing on that. But check that it is your belt thats let go just pop the cam cover off the front of the engine located near the right strut tower. If you cars done more than 200K more than likely the belts gone, and as for the sensors on the engine they would cause a stall or limp home mode to engage.
  21. Mine did that before I changed the motor and you guessed it timing belt snapped! Bought a new one and 4 hours later run like a dream.
  22. Thanks mate I appreciate the feed back.
  23. As I mentioned earlier the inlet has already been worked including a 80mm throttle butterfly. My biggest problem at the moment is the cooling system is forcing coolant out whenever I exceed 4500 rpm still trying to get that sorted out.
  24. Maybe not as much power but definately lots of torque LOL
  25. The 1 UZ option was put off as the car wasn't going to pass the torsion tests, yes serious with the turbos as I already have them just found someone today to get manifolds fabricated and downpipes, have to move the fans to the front of the radiator including rerouting hoses should be picking up intercooler tomorrow.
