Rattle Noise

Driving a Corolla Hatchback 07 model. Mileage is only 18km, mainly used for weekends.

Last few months, rattle noise started coming from legs space of the front passenger seat. Sent in to Scifleet for servicing, ended up paying $40, as i was told 'Rattle noise' is only covered up to 1 year and not 3 years. Only engines are covered up

to 3 years.

My car being a 2 year old car with such a low mileage, how does 'rattle' noise come about?

Service report stated

"Remove and refit glovebox and fuse panel with felt tape"

My qns - is this more like a 'wear and tear' sympton or a 'manufacturing' sympton based on the service report?

After this 'Rattle noise' is gone, today i started another different rattle noise coming from the back, another time for me to pay for this low QA from Toyota?

Any kind response would be much appreciated.

>is it intermittant or is it there all the time?

the rattle noise which just got serviced

doesnt sound like metallic to me.

came from inside the cabin, came from the somewhere below the glove box.

it happened when travelling speed is more than 40km/hr

i will say for more than 6mths already. till i thought better give the car a checkup before the 3 years warranty is finished up. But didnt realise 'rattle noise' is covered up to one year of warranty only.

honestly i thought you were talking about this rear noise.. cause i thought toyota fixed the glovebox, if they didnt fix the noise and you payed for it to be fixed, take it back and say i payed for it to be fixed, and its not fixed, i think you should fix it for free....
