SEC code entry

I had a new clutch put in my 2003 Corolla, and the battery was disconnected in the process. Now the radio is asking for the SEC code - which I have. I cannot figure out how to enter it - I know there ia a combination of buttons you have to press to enter it - but I can't remember (or figure out) what they are. The manual is no help as the model of radio is different from the one in the manual (It says Toyota 34243 on it)

On my radio NUMBERS 1 - 3 control the input of numbers, each time the button is pressed it goes increments of 0-9. When you finished HOLD the SCAN button for about 1 second

Thanks - but what do you press to get the 3 dashes so you can actually put the numbers in?

Hold the SEEK UP button, while doing that press NUMBER 1.
