Folks,

I have an '84 FJ 73 mid wheel base FRP model (RHD, Australia).

The boy stuck something metal up the trailer plug (when the lights were on)........

Ever since, the tail lights and dash instrument lights don't work.

Everything else works ok, headlights, turn lights, stop lights on the car, and the blinkers and stop lights on the trailer.... no side or tail lights anywhere.

The fuses are all ok, so I guess there is a problem with the tail light relay.

My issue is that I cant find the thing....... its really bugging me, as I can't drive the vehicle after dark with no tail lights!

I removed the glove box and looked under the dash there. All I could see was a Charge light relay, an Emission Control relay (yellow box) and an Air cond relay (black box).

Can anyone please help me in suggesting where this relay thing is...... and can it be tested to see if that is the problem, or just replace altogether?

regards

Mike
